I have a bomb shelter in my backyard. Houses in our road were bombed during World War Two, and the church down the road was so severely damaged that it was demolished, there is a Doctors surgery there now, We had a Sycamore tree removed a few years ago and when the tree surgeon was cutting it down his chainsaw blade kept hitting metal in the tree trunk, apparently it was bomb shrapnel in the tree. I live in South East London

Another great chapter, when I saw the title of the chapter, I was a bit worried that something bad was going to happen to our boys, I had a feeling that Regis & Darnell are gay and were trying to escape a bad situation, I was right about it.

So old man Cooley has himself another wife, poor her. if she is marrying a man who has children be they young or adult she should accept them with open arms otherwise don’t marry him, or is this just Cooley not wanting either of them around? How long before Rob goes sneaking around August’s new place and start causing trouble? 👿 -
A great chapter, but what a dreadful man Cooley is, looks like nothing would stop him from getting what he wants, even paying someone to maim another person over some land, a truly awful human being 🤬

Rob is just awful 😞 I wonder why he’s not married? Maybe no woman in her right mind would have him. Augie needs to get away from both of those scum bags, hopefully he can do it -
Pa is just one awful cruel person, and I doubt that Rob is any better. what was he doing down at the creek? Just as well August and Fletcher weren’t doing anything, because there sure would be hell to pay. 🤬 I like the story but I do have a bit of trouble with the dialogue, he does put me off reading the story more than a few chapters at a time.

The age of consent in Ohio is 13, by authority 16, unrestricted 18 Wyoming the age of consent is 17, 13 is way to young 🙁
