My mother in law is good a guilt trips, she claims that she is a failure as she has 2 unmarried children and can’t hold her head up high in the community because of this, what she doesn’t know is that she only has 1 unmarried child because her son is married to me and she doesn’t know that, because of her religion she doesn’t want to accept her son is gay, so she’s not involved in that part of his life. My husband and I have been together for 22 years and I have never met her or the rest of the family. They are Indian Muslim, another bigoted religion, they are 😞

This was a great story to read, I agree with you @kbois about religion it’s a toxic environment that I don’t want any part of. There’s just to much judgement, hatred and bigotry with a lot of so called god botherers, if they want to believe in a magic being in the sky that’s up to them, but don’t tell me how to live my life because the bible says so. religion is the root of all evil. I recently read a book called This Body of Water, surviving Mormonism as a Queer Man by Wes Smith, it’s an about his life and coming to terms with his gay self . It’s available on Kindle and well worth reading.

I feel a bit left out of the conversation between Perry, Kyan and the kids about Perry and Kyan becoming a couple, it would have been nice to see their reactions. If Perry thinks that’s a marriage proposal, oh boy, he hasn’t got a clue 😀and if Kyan said no I wouldn’t blame him 🌈

Ned is an idiot for allowing Basingstoke to supply the security system, can’t the little thief see that it’s too much of a coincidence that he had a break in and then miraculously a travelling security salesman shows up at his yard? I would also ask if I could speak to some of his clients to see what they think of the security system that Archie sold them ☹️

Kline was looking forward to a check arriving for his story but as this part of the story is set in Australia, we spell it as cheque and it’s a mobile phone not a cell phone, yes I know that the author is American and so is Trev.
