I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this story, obviously Clair was Jeff’s one and only partner that he wanted in life, but he ended up sharing so much of his love for those he chose as his family and he found happiness and love within them, I do find it a bit strange that he never made more of a friend in Richard other than someone to say hello to of a morning, Richard move have been a lonely man but we will never know that. Thanks very much for sharing this story.

I have the same problem with my husband, he says something about someone and I ask a question and he says I didn’t ask them that, it’s frustrating as hell as sometimes it’s a question that should be asked, a friend of ours has just bought a new home with her girlfriend, I asked Sam how much did they pay for it, and he said I didn’t ask her, 2 bed mid terrace in Newton an inner western Sydney suburb would have been expensive, but the girls have done well in moving up the property ladder.

So the McDougals just signed away their rights to their son as if they were selling a car? A lot of people aren’t fit to be parents, I think that they should have to go through a rigorous vetting process like adoptive parents do, then they may change their mind. I would assume the monthly payment would be based upon the parents salaries?

I have had both doses of Pfizer vaccine, my GP surgery called me in February and said these are the dates we have available which one did I want? I booked but had to change the date, this was done via NHS website, I received a text a few weeks ago to book my second one which I have had, only issue for me was a sore arm for a few days, one of my clients and his wife had their vaccine and they were sick over the weekend with shivering and then high temperatures, it had calmed down by the Sunday afternoon.

I don’t know if Frank was legally adopted? There is no mention of this in the previous chapters, a lot of people marry their first cousins so it shouldn’t make a difference

Hold on Letting Go is one of charities that I support, it specialises in children’s bereavement support, it helps other kids to know that there are others like them who have lost a loved one, the kids are paired up with other kids that are close to their age where it’s been a bit longer since they lost a family member or friend, they have residential workshops over a few weekends which gives the children some respite and a chance to be a child.

I get the feeling that Frank’s mother may have cancer or something else as to why she is unwell, hopefully Frank will live with young Vic and his family if the worse happens to his mother, I doubt that a father is around?

What an an ignorant woman Brad’s mother is saying what she did, I suppose she also believes that hurricanes are caused by sinners. Talk about dumb thinking.

Some of the local funeral companies have horse drawn hearse carriages, I saw a white one last week with the horses ready to go. Elegant Carriages even has a rainbow 🌈 coloured carriage which includes a rainbow flag and plumes. Of course the men wear top hat and tails.
