Well, fine I won't then lol! It's a good idea. I have a fucking timeline of events over here! Now I'm remembering you saying "Only one dramatic event?" π€£
-
I'll give you credit the next time i use your ideas, cuz I'm gonna use the "Imani sees blood on Jesse" next lol. This is stupidly entertaining to me!!!!
-
Do you seriously want one π Yes, you were the reason I put this in. It's all you. They've cleaned up Reddit. It had some really terrible subreddits. Some are probably still around.

By ten in the morning, Jesse had only been on the floor for an hour, and he already felt like itβd been a full day. The diner was packed, same as always. Mornings were the worst and the bestβtoo many people, too many coffee refills, too many breakfast plates stacked up in the window, but also the kind of rush that made the hours move. The bell over the front door kept jangling. Silverware clinked against ceramic. Somebody at the counter laughed too loud. Somewhere in the back, the grill his

I mean π I thought it was a good thing considering! Did I read the room wrong again??? ππ
-
Yeah, he's not having a very nice week so far π
-
It had been about six weeks since theyβd signed papers on the little white house. Now it was Sunday evening, the last week of October, and Battle of the Bands was finally coming up on Saturday. Shaun could barely believe it was that close. Heβd been preparing for this competition for months; in real time it wasnβt that long, but in his head that first night he, Gretchen, and Ben had launched Defaced felt like a whole different lifetime. The BOTB. The house. Sometimes the life they were livi

Thank you πππ

I'm just glad another project is finished, not abandoned. Progress πͺ

It really is a bitch selling on FB. I've bought single items too in the past. But I can't imagine trying to schedule pick up for a whole household of items in one weekend π I'm skipping ahead 5-6 weeks now, to the week of the battle of the bands. I hear you about the Imani thing π

The man stopped a few feet away, far enough to give Shaun room, close enough to make the distance feel deliberate. His hands were loose at his sides. No phone in sight. "I won't take much of your time," he said. Not an apologyβa fact. Shaun crossed his arms, weight shifting back onto one heel. "You've been watching us all night." "I have." No deflection. No excuse. He said it the same way he might say the sky is blueβjust a thing that was true. "That's not weird to you?"

Omg I forgot about that video! Haha ππ thanks for reminding me.

Haha yes the aftermath/blood play scene that nobody is looking foward too π I'm ambivalent. Now I'm nervous the "fresh hell" I'm planning won't be fresh enough π I'll do my best!
-
Haha that is the appropriate reaction πππ

The kitchen air was thick with the sweet, skunky edge of Harryβs weed and the acrid bite of cigarette smoke. Shaun leaned back, the hard press of the chairβs wooden slats against his shoulder blades the only thing that felt real. One arm was a casual weight around Jesse, the other brought a cigarette to his lips, the cherry glowing a faint, dangerous red in the dim kitchen light. The high was a pleasant, cottony fog settling behind his eyes, softening the edges of the world, making everything fe

I mean, I'm struggling with my own mental health stuff. Have been since I was a teenager. Idk if I ever will just be 'fixed'. After years of this, I'm thinking not. Still gotta manage it, still make things better, try, right??? So, analogy for my own life, I guess. But I've yet to become a rockstar π
-
I mean, Jesse didn't try to get Shaun psych help. But I mean, Shaun literally killed someone. I wouldn't send my bf to a counselor with that kind of secret looming. One slip... and they've gotta report that shit. I'm following my own grimy logic here π Plus! You've gotta want to change and why would Shaun wanna change? Don't say "jesse should drawn the line' because omg if he starts being all 'stop being the way you are or I'm gonna leave'. I'll vomit. I'm being firm here. Sticking to my guns. Might not even get to the bloody stuff in the next chapter anyway. This show scene is going to be difficult and I'm plotting all the moving parts and I'm overwhelmed! In a good way! Except I said I'd clean today and I'm not π
-
Too Hallmark for me. Why does he need to be fixed? Seen that a million times! What if he can't! This is this scenario...
-
Ooookay! I see the problem Is Jesse choosing this because he is empowered and curious and finds something in it for himself? Or is Jesse absorbing it because he feels he has to in order to keep Shaun? Gotta make it the former not the latter. Got it π
-
Thanks for the lovely review! I really appreciate everyone taking the time to comment. I feel seen!I 'll throw in a mention they got "rent to own" on the house ππ‘ Now, the cutting issue... This is where I'm personally struggling. Maybe I'm weird for thinking this, but I just think Jesse submitting to "sex" he doesn't necessarily want to, but does because he cherishes everything else in their relationship, is romantic. It's like unconditional love... Jesse knows Shaun, his past, his problems, his fuck-ups, his hopes and dreams and his successes, everything, and he still loves Shaun despite it or maybe because of it... So it's gotta happen. Jesse fully embracing Shaun.

I was multitasking π

πππOf course πππ

You're sarcasm is appreciated ππππ

Ohhh was there more fuck ups?! The read back thingy wasn't working well so I just skipped that part π I always get so lazy at the end of a story.
