@jaysalmn I agree Kaleb and Nan need those little leashes we have seen little children on when parents take their kids to the park. I'm pretty sure Doug was mortified by his mother's behavior. Davis and Kaleb definitely need to figure things out between them.
@Dodger great writing as always, however, i would still like to wring Sue's neck, due to the fact that she knows Don's still pulling strings that control Robbie because he's gay. I fear what Nathans reaction will be when Robbie tells him about his estranged relation with Alex. So many webs to unravel as Don seems to keep creating more.
Struggling Forward
Hustle and Bustle:
Blu and Davis were pulling the ropes off the trailer holding the new lounge suite down. Kyle came out from the house watching the two boys at work, waiting for them to ask for his help. Once the ropes were off, Blu climbed in the back of the trailer and Davis opened the tailgate at the end to reach for the recliner part of the sectional lounge handing it off to Kyle.
“UH… Guys, don’t you think we should move the old couch first?” Kyle sniped
@FFSELL I'm glad you enjoyed the first chapter I must admit I was nervous to see the reaction to Phoenix Foundation, but each reader has been so supportive and encouraging I can't thank everybody enough.
Thanks, @glennish the boys reuniting definitely made the first chapter quite moving. The creation of the family is going to be quite interesting to see how it plays out. As far as the parents, I hope you all enjoy their fate.
Thanks for reading @Crazyd1965, today's my birthday so it's a day of lounging, relaxing, and doing a bit of writing and reading. No promises but I may try and get another chapter ready for beta.
Thanks, @avidreader I hope you enjoy the story, so far the story is plotted through 20 chapters if people continue having such a wonderful response I will consider making it a long-running one.
