Thanks @Onim , this chapter had me questioning myself how to make it all come together, Auntie Joh spoils Max, he might need a few extra walks from time to time.

@Onim, The whole family has lost their matriarch, Marlene was a Mom to all of the guys. Brad and Nate have to deal with their Mom's death, and the upcoming trial almost simultaneously, how that is going to go, god, only knows. Thanks for the review you and @Crazyd1965 sure proved I wrote the chapter just as intended it was a complete surprise and loss not to be forgotten.

@Crazyd1965, Believe it or not, I actually cried while writing this chapter. Marlene was an extremely loving Mom, who worried more about her boys than she did herself after Brad's attack, she made a commitment to never let her boys be hurt again. Marlene's loss will definitely be felt by all the guys, but they will come to rely on their makeshift family.

Thanks @droughtquake My history with social workers and such isn't exactly that great at this point Thanks @glennish for the wonderful comments, Auntie Joh can't help herself she loves her Maxie

This was rough getting Dustin integrated properly, so I did a lot of writing, delete, and re-write until I was happy with how his character came along.
-
Everything Changes Family: Dustin stood in the foyer with his mouth hanging open with tears trickling down his face. Alex rushed to his side as quickly as his crutches could carry him putting his arm around Dustin. “Dustin, it’s okay man, we are all here for you.” Alex rubbed Dustin’s back soothingly, “Oh, I’m Alex by the way.” A faint smile appeared on Dustin’s face, “Thanks, I really appreciate you guys waiting up for us to get home. I’m sorry for crying like a baby.” Dustin w

Can’t Stop These Feeling’s Fallen Angel: Over the following weeks, Brad’s studying kept him pretty busy as he only had another month of college left. He was also busy with applying for jobs as a social worker. However, Mitch and he found time for a quaint dinner, or a cup of coffee and texted as often as possible. Brad and Mitch have even gone on a double date a few times with Jesse and Cade, which has made both couples extremely close as friends. Brad was in his bedro

Anna never ceases to amaze me at exactly how big of a bitch she actually is, we can only wait for her to give birth and hopefully disappear maybe permanently...

Worth the Struggle Eyes Are Watching You: Kaleb and Christopher were in the student union eating lunch a few weeks later. Kaleb decided it was time to approach Christopher’s behavior after discussing it with Kyle, “Christopher what’s up with you and Kyle, you’ve been a real prick to him?” Christopher stared at Kaleb while pushing his fork through his mashed potatoes like a plow in a field. “What do you mean?” Christopher acted puzzled, “I haven’t been treating him differe

Chapter 82 A Fool to Yourself
Dahawk commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 82 A Fool to Yourself
Sue has such double standards ugh, dont have much else to say about her. -
Sorry, I'm just getting around to responding, but I've been sick so just going to respond as a group response thanks for the feedback and responses. Yes, Christopher is a conniving little shithead.

Worth the Struggle What’s Next?: Kyle went home for spring break after a tearful goodbye to Blu. Kyle was met at the airport by Kaleb and James. Kaleb wrapped Kyle in a huge brotherly hug, “Hey, it’s good to see you… I really miss you,” Kaleb said with a smile from ear to ear. “Are you ready for this week?” Kyle sighed, “I’m glad to see you too, miss you too,” smiling at first, then his shoulders slouched, “but I could do without Rudolph and Penelope…” Kaleb patted his back, fee

Worth the Struggle Home for the Holiday’s or Not!: Kyle sat on the couch mashing buttons on the Xbox controller playing Call of Duty, while he replayed events of Christmas, and his birthday through his head. Flashback: Christmas for Kyle and Kaleb consisted of dressing in stuffy tuxedos, and mingling with the who’s who from their town. They ate food that cost more than the average person’s car which neither of them cares one bit for, and after they made their parent
