  1. It's a rough recovery just push yourself within the limits PT gives you, and you will bounce back.
  2. My mom had cancer three years ago and since it was one thing after another.

  5. I'm just glad to hear you're doing ok, I dipped out on people for a while for mom and my mental place wasn't good for a while over her. But it's good to be back.

  8. Lights are on, however she's not functioning or speaking any longer. One thing I can tell everybody, is that Alzheimer's is a horrible thing.

  12. Published the epilogue to Family Struggles, this past weekend. We are working on the next book to the series already, once we complete ten chapters we will start posting. So far one chapter is complete.

  14. Well one thing I can say about the friends on here, our GA family supports us.
  15. i think some of us are too old and proud, to keep us from not doing things.

  17. I think hospitals do that, they don't want you comfy. It motivates ya to get to civilized food.
  18. It's quite painful, best thing is push yourself in PT within the therapists wishes. Then ice is your best friend.
  19. My shoulder took me a year to get use of it after that. A major PIA, to say the least.

  24. Thanks, it feels good to have my outlet back and to reconnect with friends.
  25. I aged a lot dealing with mom's illness. My brother and sister and I no longer speak, since they wouldn't lift a finger to help with mom. My mom is still here physically, but no longer functioning or speaking. Hope you're doing ok @Dmrman
