  1. Very well said. Theodore cares more about the two humans that are so close to him now, more than he likes to admit, that is. Thanks a lot for your comment, @Summerabbacat
  2. More mysteries will be cleared next chapter, such as what the trio talked about while being trapped in darkness...
  3. The toaster remained behind, I'm afraid...
  4. Chapter Six – Destined to Be Together He would guard the runes that held the secret to the curse with his life if he needed to. But, after Jack’s intervention, the entire world seemed to be tilting, and Vince felt as if he was falling through the earth itself. Without the solidity of the boulder against his back, he didn’t sense any weight holding him down, not even that of his own body. Such strangeness was unnatural, and while he did expect some foul magic to be at play, it was a whole di
  5. So sorry... Real life got in the way and I couldn't be at my computer. I will post on Tuesday for sure, though. My apologies.
  6. He-he... he did land one, and I'm sure it stung like hell! Abstract, yes, because Alexander has endured a lot over the years... when you guys will learn how much... just don't grab any pitches and forks, please
  7. That's a gorgeous line!
  8. Ah, like a ring... oh, yes, it does have the meaning. And Alexander does the collaring gently, because he knows how skittish Lyn can get. The 'natural' comment - there will be things in the past that will point to the same thing... that Lyn and Alexander fit. They are compatible. I think that it's really romantic to think that opposites attract, but in real life, I've noticed that actually it's more like birds of a feather stick together. Alexander loads a gun here, talking about rehearsals. On the one hand, he knows that you can only repeat something this much before it starts losing its meaning - like when you say the same word over and over... He does make a point about exams - and you're right that he's reminding Lyn that he needs to stay in the present - where he's doing mighty fun On the other hand, Alexander is very observant - the many rehearsals might affect other people, too (and this is where I shut up). Domestic lovely scenes are so my jam... Not everything needs to be intense to count
  9. Yep, yep, yep. Alexander has really suffered through all these years... while Lyn remained oblivious. It was more performative - Lyn lost the plot quickly, lol!
  10. He-he... Lyn had a plan... and then he got derailed...
  11. I've personally discovered to be the truth! So I guess I was waiting for the right story to say that with it...
  12. Chapter Thirty-Two – [Memory, Summer Break after Sophomore Year] – The Clouds in Your Eyes Lyn started to suspect that he had somehow developed a sixth sense that alerted him, specifically, when Brad was near. He was out in the small lawn in front of the house, examining the flower beds with a critical eye, trying to get his mind off the peeling paint and slight cracks that would need a little more than pluckiness of character to fix. His mom had left on a trip with the widower she was stil
  13. Absurdity is the word! Jack lives in my head rent-free, and he's among the most impulsive characters I've ever come up with! Thanks for calling me a master, I live for comedy!
  14. It is all so very simple!
  15. Ha-ha, awesome song, we might give it to Jack to dance on it on his way to losing his virginity, lol - as for the lyrics, they fit to a tee, and would so be something Jack would resonate with! Self-moistening, huh? You guys...
  16. Especially the, ahem, gymnastics, will be quite elaborate!
  17. If it's written in the stars... I mean cards...
  18. 'Things will work out' - famous last words Jokes aside, I'm glad that you're enjoying this retelling part. I hope to shed light on the things that couldn't be presented in full when Danny and Ryder were the main characters.
  19. Not thinking at all must be Jack's middle name, lol. Interesting doesn't cover it
  20. Chapter Five – Witchcraft and Trickery The moment of truth was near. Theodore stared into the pine forest below, his mind filled with dark thoughts. Although his hands remained steady, he could tell that what he had been living for was about to become reality. Revenge was near. He could almost taste it in the back of his throat like ashes from an urn. Cassandra – that was the only name on his mind now. His pack would be avenged and maybe, just maybe, he would find his peace. “Where doe
  21. So true! If I had a nickel for each time I heard that our nations here have always been at the crossroads of empires...
  22. Well, I'll reply with a famous quote from one of the novels written by a great writer in my country... I feel enormously and see monstrously. Complicated history must be to blame! And I get what you mean about the lack of expressivity! That's a bit of a running gag now, especially on social media... But give one such person a bit too much to drink, and you'll see emotions from crying uncontrollably to the most hysteric laughter!
  23. No, I'm sorry if anything gave that impression... Those nasty things are said by those people.
