You're evil and funny at the same time. Poor Jackie. Angel is a sociopath, not sure how cute, though, lol. And you're pinning quite the kinks on @Joie J., oh, gawd...

Chapter Twenty-Four – How to Educate Your Dom The elevator was out of order, so he took the stairs, climbing them two at a time. The exercise did him good, the ache in his muscles once he reached his floor a good indication that there was a lot he needed to work out of his system. After seeing Angel on the screen of Watkins’s phone, his mind had become a nest of snakes. What was Angel’s role in all of this? As he had suspected – one of the versions of truth he had examined on his way to ‘th

Too Far Away From Home
Laura S. Fox commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Too Far Away From Home
I believe that I might give your heart plenty of reasons to beat faster... and not for the usual ones. Although I like to think and the budding romance between Otis and Hudson will balance the darkness. Your questions are valid. How much Watkins knows? Is he really on board with everything? That's something that will be elucidated later in the story. Hudson should listen to that advice. For real -

Your comments on Keres's behavior are spot on. His soul is as black as the devil, and in synch with his physical appearance. He'll speak about it in his 'villain monologue', I promise! As for Otis... as usual, he's a darling. He's accommodating and gracious, and that really brings Hudson to his knees, without Otis even realizing. -

I am a big fan of thrillers, so I like to think that I'm touching the genre's beats correctly! -

I'm afraid some of the scenes in this story might give readers nightmares! I will use graphic depictions of bad things only when I feel they are warranted and not gratuitous, I promise! -

Ha-ha, I love it how you and @Joie J. never miss the opportunity to spar... a battle for the ages and all in good fun. I won't comment too much on your comment since my fear of spoilers is great, but thank you for considering that I brought a credible antagonist to the scene. -

I had to laugh at Jackie's butt... well, not at his butt, but at the mention of it! -

Oh, the speculations... We will see what happens! -
Chapter Twenty-Three – Boiling Frog The screen burned his eyes. Hudson passed one hand over them and stifled a yawn. Sleep could wait; when there were such bad people at work, he couldn’t succumb to the temptation of lying down on his cramped sofa for a nap. The chances were he wouldn’t wake up until morning, and he hoped to get at least some information on what cave Gideon Keres had crawled out of. As expected, searching for the name only led to very few results, and the people who h

Chapter Twenty-Two – Too Far Away From Home His life was split in two, Hudson mused as he stepped into the new club, if the former industrial building could truly be called that. Unlike the first time when he had visited the place with Jackie, some new furniture had been brought in, mainly long sofas and tables, which meant that the only comforts were reserved for those who would walk in there as clients. Otherwise, the grim look of the place had been kept and, for a second time, Hudson let

I might surprise you in places! And I hope you'll tell me when that happens! Hudson and Otis are on the path of no return for sure. Axis: Bold as Love.
-
If you know me a little... I think you'll guess my answer.

Snake charmer, he-he... my mind went places, not gonna lie...

Well, what I can tell you is that this series is a bit wild - in some parts - so expect some crazy scenes (I consider them crazy, maybe they're really mild for others, lol). But I won't spoil it for you Thank you for reading!

You definitely should consider writing such scripts. And Dallas! Oh, boy, that brings back memories. Even in my very communist country, that show was a major hit. And the powers that be allowed the show to go only to that episode with the body in the pool if I still remember correctly. Then we waited for more than a decade to find out the truth, lol! To think that you have to change the regime just to know how a show actually continued! You really concocted quite the scenario, and now, knowing how my actual scenario goes, I feel ashamed! I should have made it wilder!

Well said. Otis wasn't chosen by accident to be the main character in this story by yours truly. In the spirit of what I've learned of writing stories over the years, in fiction, nothing should be random, and everything must be used.

I know that you know me

The 'laugh' reaction is for the coon... gosh, besides cat videos, I could watch these little bandits for hours. They're stealers of time on top of everything. I understand your reaction perfectly. Since this is my story, I wouldn't let the bad shadow the ending, but it's going to be a tough read in some points, for sure. Your speculations are wild, I love them! And I like it how you the readers caught on the 'accident' being used as a word and its possible interpretations!

Domesticated sounds about right! And the second option is true, as well!
-
Oh, yes, I think it even hits differently when someone else mentions it... just what I meant.
-
Otis is the type of guy who doesn't beat around the bush. Hence his straightforwardness - and thirst! Damn, that boy thirsty, lol. Jackie is the type with his soul on his sleeve, so yes, that could be a problem. But it was the best option Hudson could take while still keeping up with his values. He wouldn't have hurt Jackie because of a mistake he eventually made...
-
I might have a little bit of different plans... As for Hudson, his actions will talk for him, and I'm going to let him show you, in the end, what he is made of and what sort of man he is. With his flaws and shortcomings, of course

Oh, definitely, buy that dress, my friend!
