Yep, that's the John I've been hinting at for a while now... But he likes going by other names and wearing many hats. Hearst and John are actually the only given names he has, the others he is just glad to earn Like I told @Jason Rimbaud above, everyone in my country has two given names, so I thought it wouldn't be too weird for John to have another name, too! Only that not many people know his full name. John is John Smith, or better said, John Hearst Smith. Jamie's family name will be disclosed later, at the right moment

That's one hell of a backstory... Well, I did believe that readers figured out Cottontail's real name, and I didn't mean to keep it a secret from them. I blame it all on the materials on how to write given by various professionals, one of their advice being 'not hitting the readers over the head with too many hints and considering they didn't see it the first time'. On the other hand... come on! I mean, I think this is the cultural difference I sometimes experience despite consuming so much Western media and entertainment. In my country, everyone has two names (besides the family name, of course), and I don't think I've met anyone who doesn't have a second given name. That's Ancient Rome heritage, I believe. But it's definitely less common in the US, I think, if we're not thinking of the beautiful and amazing names from Latin America, of course. (We're not on that level, I promise.)

Cottontail is honest in telling Melinda to be called John. Let's just blame it on Jamie's slightly reckless personality not to consider this version the truth. As for the evolution of feelings between the two... they still have some more road to travel!

And today's chapter is about Melinda's plan to help Jamie. Spoiler alert: Jamie will love it.
  6. Chapter Thirty-Seven – Who Doesn’t Like a Maverick? “I can’t tell you how much I appreciate what you’re doing for me.” Those were the first words he said to Melinda the moment they met in front of the club. “Hey, who wouldn’t be interested in seeing a guy doing a musical marathon the way you plan on doing?” Melinda welcomed him with a hug. “I won’t be here the entire time because I need my beauty sleep, but you’ll be in good hands. The club owner is a close friend, as you know, and unl
  7. So sorry, I was busy on Easter, but now the new chapter is up.
  8. This is the time for misunderstandings, and then the time will come when all of them won't matter Indeed, Ryder misinterpreted Danny's reaction, but they won't run in circles forever, I promise.
  9. Thank you, Chris!
  10. Pembroke is the true enemy here, very true. Ryder would do well to remember that he's dealing with another wolf, and a powerful one, on top of it all.
  11. Thank you!
  12. Danny and Ryder are on the right path, the only problem is their inability to see the big picture... yet. When all will be revealed, Danny will have to muster all the courage he has no idea he possesses! Pembroke won't be a no-show forever. When he will show... well, expect some real showdown!
  13. He-he, Rock Hudson, what a man...
  14. Thank you! All the best to you, as well. Jack is my favorite secondary character, and he will also be instrumental in the plot from now on. His 'neurosis' might take other shapes, just saying!
  15. Just posted the new chapter, in which we follow the guys. Danny gets Ryder, and Vince gets Jack, so all that will be quite interesting to see, I reckon.
  16. Yes, you are correct, thank you for noticing! Petty theft is not that big a deal, which is why the police won't bother too much... unless prompted by the big man in charge aka Theodore. Definitely, the bigger threat is the other wolf in the city.
  17. Chapter Nine – Inextinguishable Fire Seeing a giant like Ryder maneuvering himself through the city maze from that distance should have seemed at least a bit odd to Danny, but that would have required having certain prerequisites such as a sound mind. He had nothing like that left, apparently, if he was so bent on going home with a possible criminal in tow and sleeping with him under the same roof, while the police were searching for the aforementioned criminal. But all those worries a
  18. Once they do that, sure, they must strategize
  19. I think that the amount of craziness in the world at this hour doesn't exclude certain characters doing shamelessly the same thing without caring for consequences. I know, I just see the LiveFeed guys I invented as that sort of sociopaths.
  20. So well said about Jamie's real name. It will play an instrumental role in the reveal of the whole plot toward the end.
  21. Let's hope that happens, Chris!
  22. Hearst has his own hang-ups, that's true. Jamie tends to be a hothead, but he would do better by strategizing...
  23. Jamie needs to fight this - these assholes. I'm afraid too many people in general fear a confrontation to put assholes like that in their places. One honorable way is to prove himself as a musician. But sometimes, other ways should be considered.

Chapter Thirty-Six – Partners Cottontail still managed to act shy, even if he had Jamie assuring him over and over that it was his cock he wanted to suck, and no one else’s. It only challenged him to do better, go further, and even annoyed him enough to want to prove himself. He would prove himself by showing what a great cocksucker he was. Jamie took pride in that. It was, after all, a skill he had cultivated over the years, from the moment he had understood how much he enjoyed giving
