I just wanted to thank you for reading and commenting! It's nice to see your thoughts as you go through the chapters, tho it's a bit scary as well - I'm not sure how the story feels when you binge-read it, since I wrote it with weeks/months between chapters. I hope you enjoy it!

Hehe I am happy to hear my story made your quarantine a little more bearable. I think we've all been using fiction to escape reality for a while and forget about this pandemic and everything else going on. I see you mention Niall and Richie - while I love them, they were never meant to have more than just brief cameos, so I hope it wasn't too disappointing that they didn't appear more. And yeah, I wrote this story over a period of about one year (with some breaks here and there), so I'll definitely have to go through it again and hunt down those errors! (Plus, I'm not a native English speaker, so apologies if anything sounded weird.) As for a sequel, I'm not planning one because I feel the story is complete, but you never know. As for the Brandon situation, Alex was feeling guilty and since he was turning over a new page, he didn't want anything from his past to drag him down. That's why he decided to give Brandon the benefit of the doubt, but I can understand why you feel differently. Brandon was definitely a controversial character. Weekends were always slow at the Appleton Bakery. With fewer people stopping by to get croissants, bagels or some other pastry for breakfast on their way to work, Jeremy had more time for other things. These usually included trying out new recipes, redecorating the bakery or tending to the flowers planted outside. More and more often, these activities included Alex as well. I have a feeling Jake could easily kill one of his bandmates if they annoy him too much. He probably wouldn't change his mind so easily like he does with Kyle.

Oh wow so it actually is Jesse! I wanted to believe he was just a harmless friend with a crush, but nope. And yes, Kyle, do not go jumping off a freaking cliff, better go and see Marie! Jake is gonna be pissed after this...

Oooh a Ouija board session! I love how Kyle compares Kim's theatrics to Marie's ordinary manner of speaking since she doesn't need to be theatrical. It seems to me that Jesse may have a crush on Kyle. And looks like Jake has moved from Belial to Lilith. He's been playing too much Diablo.

Idk about Anton LaVey, but I do know about Zeena LaVey "satanist" from that pic of her that became a meme because of her resemblance to Taylor Swift. Anyways, everything about Jake is making me uncomfortable, so well done! A really intriguing character. Kyle better watch his back.

I don't know why, but I love stories involving psychics. It's not that I believe in them, but the whole idea sounds intriguing. It would be fun to come across someone who's the real deal. Kim certainly thinks that Marie is. I like Kyle and can relate in some aspects. I can appreciate how he hasn't resorted to drugs, violence or alcohol despite all the bad luck and depression. And the detail about Kim's miscarriage was very sad, poor girl. I am really enjoying the story so far!

Omg I accidentally read this chapter first. Oh well, I better go back to the beginning. Still, a great first impression, I'm looking forward to reading the rest.

Aww what will I read now? Sad to see the story end, but I loved every word of it. The ending was perfect - and by that I mean realistic! One thing tho - I still don't get why Patricia and Bjorn messed with Cinderella in the first place? Was Bjorn's motivation that was revealed in an earlier chapter actually true, and Patricia was helping him because she liked him (enough to risk her company's business for him)?

... And that is how the French invented motorboats. The end. That was a hell of a journey! Curious to see what happens next!

I am LIVING for this story! Firstly, Dorothy's wedding scene was so good, it revealed so much about her character. Such irony that a person like her is in charge of making sure fairytales get their happy endings. The twist with Bjorn and Blanche was just the cherry on top! I definitely didn't see it coming.

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to sympathise with Dorothy, but I don't. Burnham's not an angel either, but he can definitely do better than her. I wonder what happens when Cinderella ends? Do they start the whole thing all over again - with only Bjorn and Ryan retaining their memories?

Could Dorothy be any more clueless? Has she never met any gay people? Probably not because the fairytales don't contain any. (at least until now) 😛

I agree. I personally had no problems understanding the chapter. I really enjoy these snapshots from the characters' past, they are well woven into the story, and I'm really curious to find out who Bjorn's accomplice is!

If kids were to actually read this story, it would ruin ordinary fairytales for them for good! Bjorn is going to cause Dorothy to have an aneurism!

Ooh the plot thickens! I am really liking all of the characters and the way the story jumps between the present and the past, never a dull moment! I wonder who the Dragon is?
