Wow thank you so much for featuring my story! Fairyfly is probably my favorite story that I've ever written, and I still often think about its characters and what I could do for a sequel (which is definitely coming at some point). I hope whoever gives it a chance enjoys it! -
Thank you guys, glad you enjoyed it! I first wrote this chapter as a short story unrelated to Charttoppers, but then it felt like it would be a good fit here. It's implied that Ash's contracts prohibits him from coming out. If he does so, he would be violating the terms and have to pay the record label.

Hehe Samson couldn't help himself. And let's be real, Melanie deserved to be knocked down a peg. Fun fact: this whole radio ban plot was inspired by what happened to a very popular singer in the early 00s. Yeah, Cliff has a tendency to think short-term instead of long-term, which can sometimes come back to bite him in the ass. He has control over Ash for now, but for how long? Yes, I'd say seeing little Emma has reminded Tyler of how much music can help people. Maybe that will encourage him to go on. Seems like we have a consensus on Samson and Melanie. The meeting with Melanie Roy was supposed to be quick and simple - at least that was what Samson had been expecting. He thought all he would have to do was show up, name his price and leave it to Hank to sort out all the details later. Instead, both of them were blindsided when the CEO of Argent Media dropped a bombshell, demanding that Samson does not perform new music until the festival. Where did she even get off asking them something like that, the singer wondered, baffled and insulted.

Yeah, I don't blame you for being unsure about Samson. He went for what he felt was rightfully his, but did he go about it in the wrong way? At least we know he feels guilty. It's much clearer with Florence - I don't think anybody likes her. -

I always like it when you start addressing them directly. Samson and Hyun are kind of similar in the way they're holding grudges. We can only hope they'll come to their senses and come around. Stacy was pissed off and for a good reason, but I agree, she shouldn't have taken it out on Tyler.
