Yeah, now that I read it back after several months, I see how it may have looked too hasty. I hope it's not too big of an issue in the story as a whole. I agree, the date and the presents were the stuff of fantasies. Lucky fictional characters!

Tbh I found the name randomly on Google when I searched for male names from the Pacific, so I'm not sure how it's pronounced, but I pronounce it Kah-lay-oh.

Thank you, this chapter is one of my personal favorites as well! I agree about bullying though, it often leaves marks on a person that remain long after the bullying stops. As for the quote, it's actually just a silly reference to a few of my readers who joked in the comments to the previous chapter about going to the cafe to stalk Trick and Cody, so I decided to throw it in there as a tribute
