This was probably my favorite chapter so far! First the scene with Dom and his dad, it was just so heartbreaking and then the fight at the school, I loved all of it. Especially the end when Mav showed up, so exciting! I think that was the first scene where all four main boys were together?

Well so much for going slow, I'm done and I need a new chapter pls And Zane, maybe you can buy a dictionary on CD and let Pip's spaceship process it? I think Pip definitely thought he'd be able to get into the aquarium, not just observe the animals from behind the glass! He continues to be adorable and I absolutely love that he wants to try and turn rainbow like his flip flops!

Can't help but feel bad for Topher, he's in such a tough spot, stuck between what his dad and old friends expects from him, his crush on Kevin, and his new friends. On top of that, his mom is dying. Zack really has fragile masculinity if he's threatened by a glittery pen. I can only imagine the army will make him even more obnoxious. Topher is definitely better off at the new school, as long as his dad doesn't find out who his new friends are. Terrific chapter! So many interesting and well developed characters in this story!

This was the cutest chapter yet. I loved it when Pip asked Zane to show him both of his forms I never thought I'd fall in love with a fictional cuttlefish, but here I am.

So my question to Thirdly about their communication is already being answered but I see they are both proficient in body language no need for translators in bed!

I mean, you could've just posted this one, because all others pale in comparison: "For instance, Edison created life..."

Yay, both Tilbei and Jasper (I love that name!) sound lovely and I'm glad they found each other and managed to escape to safety!

Pip has already won me over (and Zane as well, it seems)! Great start to the story! I wonder what is happening with Tilbei and what kind of an alien he is.

I can already see the Mav chapters are gonna make me violent. So congrats, I guess! I wonder why he turned out to be such a psycho. Does it have to do with the fact that he lives with four parents and I don't even know how many siblings? Anyway, he desperately needs an attitude check, and if the way to do it is by beating him to a pulp, well, so be it. So he was the one who sold Dom the drugs! Things are gonna get super interesting if/when that cat gets out of the bag!

An adorable story about a group of aliens (plus one human) who find each other under difficult circumstances and form a tight family. Without revealing much of the story, I can say that there is cuteness overload and just enough action to make it interesting and exciting. It never feels like a chore to read and there's a strong 'just one more chapter' element to it! While reading, I was always either grinning like a fool, or crying at some of the sad/emotional parts. The best thing about the story is that you can see just how much thought went into it and how much fun the authors had while writing it! I highly recommend it as a thoroughly satisfying read from start to finish!

This was probably my favorite chapter so far. As much as I dislike some (or most) of Veikko's character traits, the story would not have been as fun without characters like him and Maverick. The back and forth between them was the highlight for me! Mav clearly likes Veikko in some way, maybe because he thinks they are similar (they don't take shit from anyone, they're both oddballs). Unless Veikko changes his behavior, I can see Dom distancing himself from him and Mav taking his place next to Veikko. Veikko has clearly had very rough childhood, which explains his behavior. He's gay, tiny and can't physically defend himself, so being catty and bitchy is all he has for defense. And of course, he has Dom to protect him. Which makes me realize how one-sided their relationship is. Dom gives him protection, agrees to fool around with him even though he doesn't love him, just because he knows Veikko has a crush on him. But what does Veikko give Dom in return? Not even a visit in the hospital.

Wow, Dom certainly has his work cut out for him - living in a poor household with a single father, having to work and go to school, plus suffering from depression. Despite all of that, he manages to stay upbeat and be friendly to a new student and make him feel less isolated and lonely. Hopefully he and Topher can help each other out. It's horrible that none of his friends visited him. If I were him, I don't think they would be my friends anymore. At first I was going to say I'm a big fan of Veikko, but he seems too bitchy all the time. I sort of understand him, he's been bullied and teased all the time and doesn't know how to trust people, so he is always keeping his guard up. Still, that doesn't excuse treating people horribly. And Reima is asking the good questions: why would you choose Topher over Chris? Also, I find the New Zealand accent cute!

Ok, this chapter made me angry. Reading about how clueless religious people treat their kids and put god before everything else usually makes me angry. I won't miss Gwen, and I'm not a big fan of Topher's dad either. He presents himself as carefree, funny and relaxed, but when it comes down to his son, he doesn't know how to defend him. As for Kevin, I don't really blame him, being a gay/bi teenager is confusing as it is, without putting god and religion into the mix. And maybe Topher won't mind his new schoolmates that much? I know I'd rather go to school with Dom and Veikko than with Zack. Great first chapter tho!

Amazing story, I loved every minute of it! The ending was so perfect, with Cas and Ade reminiscing and Cas realizing that now he's no longer alone and treated like a defect, but has a big, loving family with him wherever he goes! I am curious about Zane and I need the sequel asap! After reading the comments, Cuddlefish is one of the next stories on my to read list! Edit: and well done for keeping up with everyone's color and shape of ears, hair, eyes, tails, etc. I imagine it must've been a big excel table!
