Sorry I haven't been around much today. Training meeting all day plus I've been having issues with my keyboard on my phone. I'm getting a new one tomorrow. So next week's posting you'll have me back all day.
@astone2292 dammit... go edit. How TF did we miss that?
As far as the food goes. Other than the taco mac-n-cheese.... it was all Aaron. I think he did a great job.
You'll have to wait for book 3 for a Caleb resolution. As far as torturous executions go.... your fellow readers (ahem... a.ka. the Korner Krew) demanded it. I actually toned it down from what they were clamoring for.
Waaaay back in the day when the hubby and I were dating, he tried to grow a mustache. It wasn't quite as successful as he thought it would be. Especially when I called it Mickey Mousestache.
Considering I know why you look like a 45 year old dressed up like Ned Flanders, which by the way doesn't look like it when the whole picture is seen, maybe you should 'fess up about the occasion.
Honestly, the uncropped version makes a huge difference.
It's really no wonder @Mrsgnomiecan't take you seriously. 🤣
To think this first manifested as an "awful stench" is one thing. Can you imagine if the airborne virus gave off a pleasant odor? Just think how much more widespread things could be in a town like, say, Hershey, PA where they pipe the smell of chocolate through town. I had a roommate in college who lived one town over from a Crayola factory and when the wind blew the right way all she could smell was crayons.
I don't live too far from Tropicana's main processing plant. December-April the smell of oranges wafts through the city.
Can you imagine if those scents covered up a lethal virus? Daaaammnnnnnn.....
Great chapter Wayne.
