This chapter was a whirlwind to rewrite. Not one sentence of the original draft survived. I'm so glad I did it though, Mama's scene made the chapter. Mother's intuition rules. I haven't written too much about the trauma the twins endured. It's there. It is part of them. We just need a reminder now and then. The cat and mouse game is in a stare-down.

Thanks! I'm happy for the promotion! I still have a some things to work on before Signature. From my understanding Classic is for those authors who no longer post for whatever reason. The pack induction, Elena, and Elijah’s reveal were a few of the loose ends that needed attention. Everyone needs a first kiss too. Huntington needed to stage his own death in the human world so he can plan his attack. Enya needed an introduction and I think Cassiel was curious about the Sentinels. Trevor was seedy enough to make the truth work in his favor but he probably didn't know Enya had the secondary ability. More likely, she made the lies work in her favor.

Congratulations Grand Master Scribe! I'm trying to knock out as much as I can and still cover what I wanted to. Unfortunately my brain decides to complicate things at the worst possible time. Which will probably translate to not tying up as many loose ends as I wanted. So if you could all do me a favor and list ONE loose end you think needs attending to in this story I'll see what I can do.

Don't forget, she's young. She may not have good control or she may have been afraid for some reason. If she was indeed being tortured like Trevor led Cassiel and Kage to believe, she might have been traumatized. Lot's of possibilities.

About Saturday..... I'm not done with the rewrite yet and we're in storm prep mode again. Hopefully it'll amount to nothing but some rain and breezy conditions. So far it looks like we'll avoid the flooding. I also have a shit ton of stuff going on at work. Worse case scenario, I think I can have it ready by Sunday, Monday at the latest. 🤞
