I'm glad everyone is okay. Yard clean up will likely take a few weeks around here. The county comes around with the big claw to remove the debris. After Irma it took over a month to get our massive pile picked up. This time my maintenance guys will help after the parks are done.
It's true. Pedophiles are drawn to physically immature kids. It's in their best interest to keep them that way. I hope for the sake of the other hybrids out there their captors realize they are worth more alive.
Reilly’s biggest issue was his wolf being too scared to come out and shift. It was the mate-pull that enticed him. The hybrids will have to overcome much more if they're to have any kind of chance. I can't see how they can thwart the laws of nature.
While I love a good showdown, I would be at a serious disadvantage in the commenting department. I'll be too busy to respond and there's no way she'd play fair. I wouldn't put it past her to stack the deck. I'm sure she's capable.
Seeing how I already killed a good amount of whiskey today (I tried orange with macadamia... not too bad), I'm not even tempted to post. Besides, I don't have the second edits back from @astone2292 nor the beta comments from @Danilo Syrtis.
I am working on editing ch 31 so hopefully I'll be back on track soon. It remains to be seen how flipping busy I'll be this week. Not really looking forward to tomorrow. Or Tuesday. Or Wednesday. Or Thursday. Maybe Friday?
I read the Twilight books but only saw the 1st movie. My kids were too young. They were still all about Pixar and superheroes.
Good theories. Remains to be seen what will or won't pan out.
What can I say. My personal mission is to make my readers cry. I'm glad it's working. Lol.
The Scooby-doo comment tickled @astone2292's funny bone too. I rather liked it. 🤣🤣
Cameron didn't go unscathed. He was too thin but not emaciated. A sign Gates did nothing more than the bare minimum. It's the mental and emotional scars that will eventually surface that he'll need support with.
Kage is still an important part of this story.
Everyone in the park was okay. Only one home not salvageable. It got hit hard by the tornado/downturn we had a month ago. The hurricane finished it off. Two other homes are iffy, maybe another one or two. Other than that the rest of the damages were minor to moderate. Several carports destroyed completely.
As of Friday we still had about a third if the park with no power, but everyone had water. Luckily the weather has been unusually perfect. Low to mid-80s with very little humidity. Normally post hurricane weather is swampy heat and humidity.
I didn't want to leave you hanging by your fingernails forever.
