I guess I picture them being between 6 and 10ish. Unfortunately, it's impossible to fully develop secondary characters. In most cases it's better to leave it up to the reader's imagination.

No driving.... flying and cruising. 10 days of absolute relaxation and taking a helicopter ride to a glacier! (Weather permitting!) As I mentioned before, Tyler has developed into a much more complex character than I originally pictured. His compassion is a defining trait.

He's just whining because he's the last to get them.

The sentence that stood out to me most was I am also eating a snickerdoodle right now with my morning cup of coffee. Dammit! I'm jealous. Lots will be going on the next few chapters. Tyler is a jokester, but he's also very compassionate and empathetic. His character really developed as I wrote the chapters from his POV.

I think, in general, when someone goes missing, all the focus is on them (rightfully so), but loved ones left behind are sort of forgotten. I can't imagine dealing with not knowing what happened to my child.

Yeah... my mom used to buy 3 gallons of milk every other day. We still ran out occasionally. Cap'n Crunch dry will TEAR your mouth to shreds. If I can get through posting 3 chapters this week y'all won't be hanging by a thread. (I think)

There's a ton of recipes out there. Just don't get all cutesy and try to add shit like coconut. You'll ruin it.

I'm chomping at the bit. I need this vacation more than I've ever needed a vacation before.

So.... Important announcement! I am leaving on vacation this coming Friday and will only have spotty access to the internet. So to appease the Korner Krew so they don't kill me, I'm going to post on Tuesday and Thursday of this week, and also try to get an extra chapter in. That will depend on my editing/beta gang. I have faith they can pull it off for me.

I'm sure grief will hit me like a bullet train one of these days. My only venture out to the West coast was to Los Angeles when I was in college. I've been up and down the East coast and visited Europe, so this will be a new adventure. I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm proud of you tim and how you handled the situation. You should be proud of yourself. I should have taken a page from your book last night. Hubs and I got into a fight over something stupid. I ended up so upset I was shaking. Normally I break down into tears, but currently that response mechanism is broken. I haven't shed a tear over losing my mom and I miss her a lot. I know it'll come eventually. I should have stepped back and tried to diffuse the situation, but I didn't. We're okay now. I had to explain how stressed I've been over the past two weeks, watching Mom die, having my boss in the office all last week, dealing with the tornado at work, and on top of that our son has been dealing with his own mental health crisis after a friend died suddenly. It's a little bit much. I have 4.5 more work days to get through. Next Friday we fly to Vancouver to start our vacation. I'm really looking forward to it. It's not going to be an easy road. The pups are spread out and it's not known how many of them are even still with the original buyers. A rather tangled web to unravel.
