From the very first chapter to the very last it's an amazing journey for Jay and Loren. Being a part of this from the rough drafts, the edits, the parts that got added, the parts that got trashed... was an opportunity I wouldn't trade for anything. A great gem of a story with a little bit of every emotion thrown in. Well done, Mrs. G. Well done.

Bittersweet for sure. Yeah, there's probably going to be a short post-story adventure for Jay, Loren and #holyshittheyrehavingababy. Amazing story and I'm so glad I was along for the ride. Thanks for all the laughs along the way!

Great article. There really isn't a solid answer to the question. Every author and every reader differs in their opinion of what the right length is for a chapter. As long as it makes sense in the overall plot and flow of the story, and doesn't take three days to read, alls good. The biggest issue, for me at least, with super long chapters is finding the time to read them. I'm the sort of reader that will lose my place easily if I get interrupted in the middle. Long chapters (10k or more in my opinion) tend to be information overload. Short chapters (under 3k) leave you craving more.

We went to see Top Gun last night. I have to say it was one of the few times a sequel was just about as good as the original. Slightly cheesy in a few parts and also predictable, but overall it scores two thumbs up. 👍👍 Still packing and cleaning stuff out. I just reserved a Uhaul for the last weekend of the month. Now I just need to recruit some muscle to help. I hope everyone has a good week!

Yes, I've been MIA for a few hours. Been busy with moving stuff. Junk drawers should be a class A felony if you're found in possession. As far as all y'all commenting that this this is the best chapter yet: Only one more to go. Do you really think she's going to commit to at least 5 chapters (5k apiece)?

This is for sure one of my favorite chapters. For me it's summed up in this: For as long as I can remember, my ideal man was someone whose values reflected mine. When I saw Loren for the first time, I knew in my gut that he was the one for me. I did not know how different we were. Loren was the triangle to my circle and yet our shapes fit so perfectly together. They fit. Sometimes you can shove a square peg in a round hole. Added bonus.... #muggetmoguls!

Leave it to Will to coerce his cousin over to the Dark Side. Jack and Claire will cave if threatened with an Emancipation Proclamation. The party is just getting started. I think the charity thing is a red herring Mr. Arbour has thrown at us. While we fret about what it could mean, he's busy plotting Jake and Brad's abduction by aliens. Who will "probe" them. 🤣 Maybe then they'll learn their lesson.
