Asa remained in human form the entire time he worked on Caleb. He had to draw on his light energy and toward the end it was getting rough. If he goes supernova we're all screwed.

All that ick inside Caleb had to go somewhere. I think Asa is naturally empathetic. He would absolutely do this for almost anyone. I know Giles recognized that Asa needed him more. It might be symbolic of his total acceptance of Asa into his pack.

Bonding is so much more than instant connections. It's the little things that actually build a relationship. That's why it's important that Caleb and Asa have those moments. I'm glad you noticed and it pulled at your emotions. I guess I'm doing something right when it comes to this writing stuff.

Your unshakable faith in Caleb and Asa is admirable. Sometimes I get overly descriptive, but this chapter needed every word to hammer in the seriousness of what was going on. I wish in real life there were people like Asa who could rid the world of the darkness that threatens to overwhelm people's lives. It would make therapists jobs much easier.

I've already had a call from a resident with a leaking county water issue. All week it's been this way. I knew better than to think I'd get off scott-free this weekend. Aaron is young. He can deal with the crazy hours.
