I cringe at my earlier stuff. It went way overboard on details sometimes, but over the past few years I've gotten great advice from several authors and I've worked on improving my writing skills. One of these days I may go back and fix everything in the first few stories.

That part of her I pulled from my dad. He didn't grab our ears, but one look was all it took and we fell in line. That's pretty much true for most of the kids I grew up with. I'm GenX and our parents' parenting techniques... well let's just say we didn't screw up too often. At least we didn't get caught. Our parents weren't known for their helicopter piloting skills. Feral generation indeed. Lol.
She's giggling nonstop wherever she's at. It was a fun story to write. No complications, no plot twists, no cliffhangers. Wait! Did I really write this? 🤔
