I know, right. If only things stopped preventing him from telling Ross, life would be so much easier. Friends are sometimes so much work lol. Thanks for reading.

28th May 1991: Great news... and it's a great start to this diary entry, but I said what the hell? I might as well tell the journal anyway. You're my like best friend, I guess. Well, you know, you get to know all my secrets just because I can't tell Carl all these gay things I'm feeling. So, I might as well put it here. Great, I'm talking to a book again. Okay, anyway, let's just get on with it. My aunt Stephanie had a baby boy at 4:30 in the morning. I didn't get to meet with Ros

27th May 1991: Well, today wasn't as bad. After breakfast, I headed over to Carl's since I agreed to help him on the farm. It's a weird notion to comprehend, and I wouldn't usually say something like this out loud, but I enjoyed feeding pigs and shovelling horse shit. When I see Carl doing something like this, I wouldn't be so enthusiastically inclined to actually do it. It felt like I was helpful for the first time in God knows how long. I had a moment to think about everything that h

All we can hope for is the relationship to follow next.

I'm sure Emma noticed, girls see everything lol. Thanks for reading.

26th May 1991: Sorry I didn't get a chance to check in with you yesterday. I didn't really feel like writing yesterday, not that yesterday was a bad day or anything. I guess nothing exciting happened. Ross and me woke up on the morning of the 24th, and both of us pretended that nothing had happened. Yeah, sure, he was a little weird when he woke up. I get a little groggy too, but it was cute to see Ross so shy. After a fantastic fry that Mam cooked for all of us, I got started on my day. We

Thats the joys of young love, you neither know whether you are doing the right or the wrong thing until it comes back to haunt you, or works out in your favour. With regards to Heartbreak to Healing, I'm unsure. I am currently making a short film, and i'm in the directors chair for that, and I'm working on another project as a cinematographer so time is constrained. Lastly, I'm pushing to have my book Even If We Tried released come January after a year of working on it, and I plan to release a novella before Christmas. So, my guess is not until next year. Thanks for reading.

Sure seems that way. As teenagers, you didn't even have to try to have fun, it all came naturally. Thanks for reading

I used to love camping out when I was younger, these days I don't get to do it much anymore. I think I have traded it with practicality and decided to go with van life. The draw for sleeping in a tent and roasting hotdogs on sticks over an open fire is just too enticing, but these days comfort is a factor. Funny how when you're a kid, these things don't matter. Thanks for reading.

24th May 1991: Just wow, I don’t think I could have asked for a better night in all my life than what transpired last night. I mean, me and Ross shared a tent and talked all night, though I'll get to that in a moment. I'm majorly tired right now; my eyes are burning so every couple of seconds, it's best to shut them so that they stop the stinging. Though, hey, it was worth it. I got to hear Ross open up a little bit after everyone else was asleep. So, since my previous diary

Right, so I promise today went a lot better than the previous day. I got to see Ross, and the spark between us was back. He was talking and being his adorable cute self, god. But first, let me mention what I did before I searched for Ross, or should I say Ross came looking for me. Before breakfast, I rose early enough to get chores taken care of before the day started. I wanted to make sure that everything would be tied up if anything did happen or anyone asked to hang out. I went out to th

Sometimes you just can't help growing attached to people. Plenty of times you'd have time to bond with someone over summer break, and they just suddenly become your best friend. This is the predicament Adam is in.

True, sometimes doing the right thing can be hard. Especially when you want the best of both worlds. However, in the case of the story, it makes for perfect drama. Thanks for reading.

22nd May 1991: I had a weird dream; I dreamt of some odd, colourless mass. It felt human, though, at the same time, it wasn't exactly human. Well, it didn't appear to be. Something about my presence in the sleep world made it conscious that I was somehow around— awake and alert. Can that be, as if I was awake inside my dream? I'm not sure, but it felt peculiar to be vigilant at the moment. Eventually, I saw some shapes, but there were no details. I felt afraid and apprehensiv

Maybe just wants Adam all for himself, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

21st May 1991: Best Friday ever! Okay, so I have some news. My Mam roused early this morning, and she also woke me up. Which, to be frank, I was a little bit grumpy because she woke me up. I had no intention of getting up early to meet anyone. So, I decided I'd have a lay-in for the first time in the better part of a week. So, my Mam came in and woke me up. Mam said, "How’d you like to go out today?” Of course, grumbling, I was like, "To where?" She was a little bit

As teenagers, don't we all just want to be alone with the people we have a crush on, and once its happens, its the biggest freak out session known to humankind.

20th May 1991: How do I say this? It's a little weird, indeed. I was kind of hoping the outdoor sleepover was going to take place. But Ross— oddly— did not want to stay with my friends and me. I have no idea what got into him; he entirely shot down the idea when I mentioned it this morning. We’d been playing a bit of footie, just passing the ball back and forth in his grandparent’s garden. “Carl and I, we’re thinking of having a campout. Everyone will be there. Wanna come?” Ross k

Thanks for commenting, and I'm glad you enjoyed the story. I have plans to write an apocalyptic piece in the near future, I just need to finish up some other stories first. This short was an attempt, getting a feel for the environment, and the characters living in the dystopian setting, which I hadn't really written before, but I'm glad you picked up on it.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see just how big that beg could be, and with regards to chocolate on pancakes, if its thin enough, its like a crepe with nutella.

Let me start at the beginning of the day before I get caught by my Mam or forget what happened. At this point, I'm tired, and the events of the day are starting to become muddled. Starting with this morning, I woke up and did my usual morning routine before going next door to knock for Ross. I cleaned up my room a tiny bit. Not that it helped it look better. Everything is dated, so, it still looks a mess. I hoped Ross would say yes about sleeping over, and he did. After I did my clean

Agreed, folks have reasons for everything, I guess we'll just have to see if he resurfaces, and if Liam learned the importance of patience when testing the waters. I guess we'll have to wait and see, thanks for reading.
