Young love can be like that, you both afraid to say anything in case you look like an idiot, or worse that you could do damage to a friendship. Sometimes fate just has to intervene and drop two people together without tham necessarily making all the decisions. Thanks for reading and the comment

Geron, you have a way with words that just creates a wonderful, believable world and characters. Anytime I read a story by you I can't help but feel like I'm being sucked into another universe thats actually transpiring while I read. The characters you create, their voices always seem to be bright and alive, and that makes the intimacy of human moments even more special. I look forward to reading the rest of the story

17th May 1991: Thank god I got to see a blue sky today. Yeah, it was a little chilly, but at least we all got to go out for the most part. @J.El Sometimes catfish folks have bad intentions, but sometimes, they are just people who are looking for some attention since most of the people in their life see them as invisible. I agree, Liam is naive and he threw away any notion of safety, with the promise of finding love and to be understood. Hopefully the date goes accordingly, however, and it is a nice guy who says who he is, Liam needs a some cheering up. Thanks for reading

@J.El Thanks for commenting, and perhaps you're right, Liam might suffer, but it could also be a glorious romance where the two fall in love, though I'm not sure if I want to torture my characters at this time, so I guess we'll just have to buckle up and find out what happens. Its still early, so Alex could potentially be a catfish, which sucks, but in the off chance, Liam might be happy to know that Alex turns out to be who he said he is and have a six pack.

@weinerdog & @Jim Fraser Some people might want to keep their identity hidden as it might have ramifications for sharing a photo of themselves, so perhaps this is why Alex is cautious, but I'll agree it is shady or rather unusual that Alex didn't share any pictures, and somehow managed to get Liam to send multiple, easily getting him to relent on the matter. Animal instincts can certainly pick up on vibes that don't feel right and with some hope, you'd think the date with Liam and Alex would go well. I guess we'll have to wait and see if Alex is who he says he is, and that Liam is not being too foolish with who he trusts. Thanks for reading.

Liam woke the following morning, and the first thing he did was check his cell phone, hoping that Alex had messaged him back via HAWT. He was disappointed to find no new messages from Alex. So, Liam crawled from his bed and headed downstairs to the kitchen to make himself some breakfast. Hopefully once the awkwardness clears away, the two boys will become a neat couple, we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed. Plus, its funny how body language can give away peoples intentions without them knowing, sometimes, that does all the speaking necessary.

15th May 1991: Right, so today, I have accomplished nothing new at all. After all, a huge bloody cloud opened up over the town, and it rained for most of the day. Liam Sanders is a 16-year-old who just got dumped by his ex-boyfriend via text. Feeling hurt and betrayed, Liam tries to forget about his ex by indulging in his hobby of collecting rocks and chatting with guys on a dating app. He eventually meets a new guy named Alex, and they hit it off, sparking a sense of hope for the future. With Alex, Liam feels like he can finally move on from his ex and have a fresh start.

Right, so this morning when I woke up, I tried hiding Ross's underwear— until I figure out exactly what to do with them. They are most definitely his; they are not mine. I wonder how they ended up in my bag. It wasn't as if we were rushing to get dressed and had to pack up in a hurry. No, Ross's underwear was buried quite deep down in my bag, under my towel.
