    Ha. It was 87 here today. A.c. is on.

    It's not that bad. I wear a mask all day for 8 to 10 hours, depending on how long I work. I answer the phone all day, telehealth with our physicians and help my residents Skype their loved ones (a lot are nonverbal so I end up talking a lot) All masked. Just remember to slow down and enunciate.

    I'm so very very glad it's the end of my work week. Hi all. Happy Friday. Its so cold here. Dropping down to 29F tonight, Google says that is like -1C Too cold for MAY is all I know.

    The Cincinnati zoo is streaming an animal a day at 3pm on Facebook live. They've done about 20 so far.

    Hey all. Tonight I spent about an hour reading about staffing modules and creating new flex staff systems. Ugh. Our administrator tasked us with new ideas and plans for solving the emerging staffing crisis by next Wednesday. So, I'm taking it seriously.

    Happy Easter if yoire celebrating, happy spring Sunday if you're not. You might think after 30+ years of cooking I would remember you shouldn't grab a pan fresh from the oven with a bare hand, even if it is slipping to the floor. Cold water has prevented a large blister and I did save the lasagna. But my left hand is very sore Lol Sigh.

    The social isolation is hard for sure. But it will be awhile yet. But we can get through it.

    We tested one of my residents last night for Covid19. No word back yet from the health department. I truly hope it's negative because the whole floor is exposed if not 32 residents. Nearly 20 staff.

    Hey all! Reader and Molly happy belated tim glad you were able to find milk. It's been crazy to me how hard some things are to find in store. Hope everyone in here is finding what they need. Hope it's a good day for all. Yesterday was gorgeous weather and we were outside a lot. Today is about 17 degrees cooler and rainy, so I think I'm going to spend sometime today tidying up my books and crafts area. I ran out of regular cleaning tasks lol.

    Hey all. Sounds like bad days were dealt all around. I'm sorry for that. I'm trying to keep positive at my work but my God everyday there is some new facet of this crisis and it's so tiring. Sorry you got yelled at tim. That does suck. I hope tomorrow is better. For all of us. Well I'm off to see how many of the things I ordered for grocery pickup are unavailable. Wish me luck
