    My work had an intergenerational Montessori for 28 years ...covid killed it off.

    When my cousins and I cleaned out my mamaws kitchen after she passed in 2006, we were finding canned goods from the 90s. She had food in every cabinet, drawer, shelf.......in the kitchen, in the laundry room, in the basement.

    Hello all. I'm starry. I pop in every 2 weeks or so these days. I enjoy hearing about people's lives from all over. And even though I wouldn't know most of the DICer's by sight I feel like over the last 8ish years I've come to regard this place as a safe, fun, friend filled living room. I'm the one sitting by the fireplace with a hot chai. And I knew Michael was tall......but I didn't realize He was 6'11". Wow. My little one (ha!) is almost 5'2" and he is not yet 10 years old. So.. I feel like I will soon have a new sort of kinship to our Canadian host tim, in that I will soon be outsized by my household members

    I picked Baeza, the name sounded pretty. And the horse only joined in the runnings for Derby 2 days ago and who doesn't love an underdog like that? Cincinnati is close to Louisville KY where the races are, so it's probably a bigger deal here than most places

    Hello DIC Southern Ohio remains a soggy soggy place right now. I've read the month or so of updates from all, good to see posts from folk I hadn't seen in a long while. Hope things go well and stay that way for everyone. Did anyone watch the Kentucky Derby today? My usual theme of picking the horse whose name vibes with me was again a great one. Came in third. Too bad I didn't bet any money though. Dang it.

    Hello all! This winter can kick rocks. We got 10 inches by Monday morning (we usually get no more than 2 or 3....and not often) and now we are getting another 4 tonight. Why do I live in Ohio???
