    This is a great point. Kyan is very sheltered in a lot of ways. He was an only child who became a dad when most kids were only beginning to discover themselves. There is so much he hasn't had the chance to experience. This could be a start.

    I've done something similar to encourage lurkers to become members and also to encourage engagement. I've had some success. Everyone wants to be invited to the party. It doesn't guarantee they'll be active, but it's a step.
