😍I'm glad! This chapter took me a long time and I was terrified that it would be poorly received! Because as much as I adore Veikko (like all my characters) he's a real dick. I suppose the writing might be a bit on the wall for now. A couple of people mention in passing that Veikko's only viable method of defense is offense. Yeah while words are thrown around to describe Matsuda's perpersonality disorder, Dom's one of the few who genuinely understands all it means. Something I also meant to put across in this and recent chapters (but I fear I didn't do it well enough) is why Maverick is baiting Dom, but that'll come up again in Maverick's next chapter. Good eye! If Dom lost most of his fears but is still concerned of Maverick's intentions with Veikko, that implies a lot about his views on both of them. "The way Veikko's whole body quivered and shook in his arms, the sounds he'd make and the expressions on his pretty face when they went the full distance..." Yeah Haha I was hoping this came across the right way. Good! It's a multifaceted fight they're having that goes deeper than "Veikko doesn't care." That is definitely intended to be the case. And if you picked up on that, I did a good job! It's a big part of why Tayn is so militant in managing Dom. ❤️ the best kind of relationship! Does Topher like Dom back or is he just a honey bunny? Reima rubbed his face and sat up in his bed. "Youkay?" Veikko choked on a sob, sitting back and hugging his knees to his chest under the confines of his blanket. He was shaking and starting to hyperventilate. "No, you're not okay," Reima slid out from under his blanket and padded over to his brother's bed. "Bad dream again?"
