  1. Same here. Is this to tease us by letting us know what is to come?
  2. Even his republican buddies are starting to turn against him
  3. He really hasn't told a single lie, that is the truth. He has told multiple lies, that is also the truth.
  4. You tell the Drewth don't you
  5. Nah, I have it on good authority that it is really a lump of lead swinging on a piece of string
  6. As if it's not hot enough, Gary are you trying to get me hotter lol I'll leave him for someone else on the grounds of self-preservation.
  7. Going off the trailer it looks like a really good film. Is it on-line?
  8. You're so hard to please. Yes, I can be, but it's worth it.
  9. Don't give me the angry face. The deal was a definite answer that it will be written, not try, there is nothing definite in that. The second part is a reasonable time frame, you can't enter it into the upcoming anthology as it wouldn't fall within the guidelines. The length of time to the next anthology is so far away it can not be considered reasonable. I've told you, you have a talent for writing so share that talent and stop hiding it.
  10. Sorry I'm not happy with that, I'm keeping him
  11. It's 27c here and getting hotter 30c indoors. Last night's storm didn't leave a fresh feel to the air
  12. May is not good enough, it has to be definite and within a reasonable timeframe and a guarantee of return if you don't deliver
  13. This a good question with many different answers. I don't think there is a predetermined definitive answer as different reviewers have their own idea. What I would suggest to you is to read reviews for stories that you are interested in before reading the story. If you enjoyed the story then think about the reviews that drew you to it. When you can determine which review(s) drew you to the story you will then have your answer. Each type of review will attract a different type of reader. As for leaving a review, I would suggest something that reads similar to the reviews that draw you to stories. The more reviews you read, you will develop a better idea and your own style. I hope this answer is useful to you.
  14. Aloha Albert, how is the world treating you and Steve today?
  15. I hope you can find your muse again and return to writing, it would be a shame to lose a talented author and I'm sure you still have a lot more to offer. Maybe there is something in your local or wider community that could spark your interest, an event or centre of general interest, a person or group of people. It could be something that you disagree with and see a viable alternative that could be adopted. The possibilities are endless but each author's muse is different as are their stories. Have patience with yourself and don't force things, take everything at your pace. As for me, I write about aspects of homelessness, the people that are homeless and the people who try to help and support them. It is a subject that I am passionate about. There is no shortage of ideas and many possible ways to portray it, if anything I'm spoiled for possible storylines as there are so many. My problem is usually translating it from an idea in my head to the written word on paper. It's too easy to say write about what interests you, but that may not be the best idea for you. An author's stories are as individual as the authors themselves. Good luck on your quest to regain your muse, I hope that you find what you want, need and are looking for.
  16. One for @clochette, if she doesn't claim him he's mine
  17. Whatever it is you're taking I think you should stop, it's giving you some pretty impossible dreams
  18. I wish I could, I've still got my Dad's camera and equipment but I don't know how to use it properly. Dad was the photographer, maybe I need to learn.
  19. I'm in Manchester, the North West of England and the storm is still going on, the rain keeps on coming in short heavy bursts with thunder and lightening. I'm getting some amazing lightening displays from my balcony.
  20. I got that wrong, the heavy rain is back again accompanied by thunder! I'm hoping it will clear the air leaving it feeling fresher. No doubt the farmers will love it after the dry spell we've had.

    Chapter 11

Just as Bryan is trying to sort out his feelings and emotions about Kenny, in comes Calvin to fuck things up. It's good that Bryan has spoken to Diego about the situation with Kenny, now Diego can give him support to do what he feels is right. I'm hoping that he will rethink and speak to Diego or Steve, or even his Uncle Louis, he needs some adult support with Calvin before things get out of hand. Unfortunately, I can see Calvin causing a whole load of trouble and it's not just Bryan it will mess with, Caleb is just as vulnerable, if not more so, as Bryan. I can see Caleb getting royally screwed up.
  22. Wow, we just had a heavy downpour for about a minute, now it's almost fizzled out, what's happening with the weather?
  23. Good night my friend, wishing you and Aod sweet dreams
  24. I read this recently and left a review. I found it an engaging read, one to recommend.
