    Chapter 10

Others who have the same or similar powers as Jase seem to be involved. I agree that Swift is probably one of them. Is Lucas one too? And who else is there? I think it's too early to figure out who, and what part they have to play, is involved in this murder case. One thing that looks possible is that Macy has the same or similar abilities. If she has, she hasn't yet learned how to use or channel them. Macy is more integral to what's happening than any of us realise, her powers appear to be getting more obvious as time goes by.

    Chapter 9

Jase has learned a lot but still has more to learn at this point in the story, remember that this is a flashback of sorts so by the time he gets to Macy he has learned a lot more. I've mentioned before the angels and demons theory, maybe the terminology is wrong but it looks like there may be some truth in that theory. A point for Jase to remember is that probably means they have the same powers which would explain why the enemy is finding him, Lucas and Macy in the earlier chapters. Philip has put the idea into Jase's head that he can only use his healing powers forty times, meaning that he can only save those who he has been told are his missions, but if that's the case is it possible that Philip has used his powers more as he seems to have saved Jase, is Jase an extra? Or is Jase Philip's number twenty-eight? This is still intriguing and learning about the time between Jase's number one and number forty is interesting and informative. Some comments are mentioning the ring indentation on Jase's finger as though it speaks of a relationship for him to go back to when he gets his memories back, but I wonder if the missing ring is indicative of a relationship that had ended before Jase lost his memory. If it is, it could leave the door wide open for Jase and Lucas to move forward together in a new relationship
  3. They are telling you, he is mine 😜

    Chapter 4

Yep. That's what good stories do to me.

    Chapter 8

Well, currently it is calm and quiet, but as has already been pointed out, this could be the calm before the storm and I tend to agree. For all that Jase is even he doesn't know what is in store for them, whatever it is it's not going to be pretty. Is Martinez still alive? Who survived the shootout? Questions that we need answering among many, many more. This is about more than drugs, but I'm at a loss as to what, except that Macy is important to someone, but who?

    Chapter 7

It looks like there may be corruption that goes to a high level, but the questions are how who and why? we are all assuming that someone wants Macy dead, but we could be wrong, they may want her alive but don't care about killing to get her. Macy is someone special and she needs the right protection, but the police are not it.

    Chapter 6

Faith seems to be playing a big part here, and I only have faith in a few people in this story and Gary (Boss Hogg) isn't one of them. I said it last chapter, I think Jase and Lucas will make a great team.
  8. Taller than Drew Is Max Page's secret weapon against Drew?

    Chapter 5

Phew, that raised the heart rate, I'm glad it's over, for now. Jase may not have been able to influence Lucas with his psychic powers but hopefully, after these events actions will count for something. Whoever these hoodlums are I think we can assume that they are not going to give up. Lucas and Jase teaming up could hopefully be the way to beat them. I don't know but I'm assuming that the earlier murders were an attempt to get to Macy, I think she has been the target all along, which poses the question, who are these people after her? Is it possible that previous comments are right in their guesses of a biblical connection? Is this a battle of angels and demons?

    Chapter 4

Lucas is naturally wary of Jase, but why don't Jase's powers work on Lucas? There has to be a reason, Does Jase need to 'recharge' or something? Officer Martinez could have been easy for Jase to manipulate, or was she more of a challenge than we have seen? She could have used up more of Jase's energy than he could spare. Although, Lucas may have something about him that makes him a more difficult target. It could be possible that physical contact needs to be made first. But more intriguing is, what is Macey's significance to Jase's mission?

    Chapter 3

Chilling, yet gripping, it lets the imagination wander. This is a great chapter to draw us in more.

    Chapter 2

Jase is slowly figuring out that he has a mission, what his mission is is still to be discovered by him but his next 'patient' has been revealed, or is it just the location? The part of his mission with Helen and Christian is complete, in discovering that he has discovered where he needs to be next, maybe he will return, maybe he won't, but neither he nor we will discover that yet. Will he discover where he is to go after Kansas when he has fulfilled his purpose there? I think he will. Will he discover his purpose in full as he discovers more? or will it be discovered piecemeal? Either way, I'm still intrigued and want to know more.

    Chapter 1

This is not like the stories I usually read, but there is something that screams out "READ ME" so I'm going to read on. I'm intrigued.
  14. Two stories appeal to me. Stories one and six capture my imagination the most. I look forward to what you decide to go ahead with.
  15. I'll keep them warm for him 😜
  16. Fair's fair, you got there first, I can't argue with that.
  17. Damn, you beat me to it. I was going to claim one for Terry and one for me. 😐

    Chapter 9

Bryan and Caleb are dealing with the death of their mother in different ways, Caleb's emotions are there for all to see. I don't think it's because he will miss her, I'm not even sure that he loved her, but there is no doubt he wanted his mum in his life and knows that he no longer has that opportunity. Whatever emotions he is feeling, the loss of that opportunity will be one of them. I suspect that Bryan is suppressing very similar feelings, he has his reasons for not showing his feelings, feeling let down, abandoned and cheated by his mum are no doubt among them. I hope that attending the funeral will help them in the future when they have to face up to their past and how it is part of them and affects them. What's in Calvin's mind and his reasons for turning up at the funeral can only be guessed at. Does he still have feelings for her? Or is he there thinking he can reclaim his son's? Or is it that, to him, it is an opportunity to extract help or money from Diego? Whatever his reason I don't see any good in his appearance.
  19. Ain't that the Drewth. If we're not careful that word will end up in the OED
  20. You're welcome. 🙂
  21. That's just an optical illusion, a bit like you being nice, that's an illusion too.
  22. Why is it that when I look at this picture, I automatically think of Drew
  23. That's true, but then you shouldn't intimidate me should you? It's simple really, you be nice to me and I'll be nice to you. Provided you are nice to my friends too and stop nuking and stop harming the creatures of our world.
  24. Try it Buster, as only your government imposes taxes in America you know you're spouting BS again, you ain't got a leg to stand on. Well technically you do have legs, they are just very short.
