Thank you @chris191070, I wanted Charlie and Michael to celebrate their birthdays and I'm happy I could do that for them. I don't know about you, but I was there in spirit.

I'm so happy that you enjoyed the party, I felt that their birthdays should be remembered, especially as it is Charlie's twenty-first, it's a special birthday. Thanks to their new friends and new extended family their lives are 'back on track' and full of opportunities. Thank you for your good wishes, I wish you only the best of luck for 2024.

Project 'Restoration Mini Cooper S' will bring a lot of joy to Joe, Charlie and most of all Harry. I think Harry will be inclined to keep it when it is completed, he may look at the possibility of having a garage built to keep it in to protect it from the weather. There was no way Missy could be left out, with her intelligence and temperament she was only going to be hit at the party. As a result of his heart attack, Harry has gained more than a new lease of life, he has gained friends who are more like family. I did consider the Altered Images song but felt Stevie Wonder's song is a better fit, and it got Missy dancing too! Thank you for your comments, I love reading them.

I never did sports or Physical Education in school, I was never allowed. Rugby was my dad's sport in his youth but I don't have any photos of it. Some still don't look human after the second or third cup

I hope you find the bargains you are looking for. Remember some of the best can be found on markets and in second-hand stores, especially if you are buying jewellery.

It was a busy week for Stacy, with a family to look after. He also spent a lot of time contacting staff and volunteers from The New Boot, enlisting help and support for a new show. As if that was not enough, he was organising a surprise birthday party for Charlie and Michael. Compiling the list of proposed guests was the easy part. Planning the food frustrated Stacy until he spoke to Kate, who offered to help. Kate was a lifesaver, and Stacy was very relieved by the offer from his friend.

I hope the familiarity with the places brings back some good and happy memories for you. The expansion of Ian Kevin's business is loosely based on a small local chain of pawnbrokers that my father and I had connections with, unfortunately, they no longer exist. One of their shops was in Sale town centre and another in Chorlton, it was a time that has many good memories for me.

Thank you for joining us in reading about The Baxter Boys journey. As you point out there are a lot of good points and weaknesses in the NHS, it felt right to include both in the story. Quarantine is one of those necessary evils, for want of a better expression, but I'm sure it would be just as effective if shortened. Benjamin and Joseph's relationship is close, they are 'brothers' brought together by circumstance. I hope you will join me in wishing them well on their new adventures and a life in the UK. -
Whatever decisions are made about Ariel she will be looked after. Sometimes we have to make hard decisions in life, we can only do what we feel is right at the time.
