FINALLY! Chapter 38 of Watergame is uploaded. It will be a while before CH 39 is written. I'm going back to El Paso to catch up with Chance and Diego, and of course JC and Benny, as they plan their July Fourth Camping Trip to catch a bit of nature in Chapter 6 of JC. (HEADS UP! Chapter 6 is likely to describe considerable male nudity as all four of these boys love to be naked.) After that, I will be catching up with DJ and company before I return to Watergame. Please be patient, I'm writing as fast as I can.

I'm hoping the author brings this story to a closure, and not leave it dangling! It wasn't a planned murder, but after the accident, it was pretty stupid to try and cover it up. Somehow I have a feeling that Triston and Finn will never get together.
-
Sorry guys, for the delay. I had this chapter almost done and somehow lost it, and had to write the whole chapter over again. Anyway, here is Chapter 5, and I'm currently back in Smalltown, NC, catching up with DJ and company, and Rodney's Fourteenth Birthday Party, and then I'll be catching up with Jeff and Julian on their honeymoon in Watergame. If you guys follow me, you'll see when I post new chapters in all three stories.

Chapter 8 Good Morning Cows
Doug Spencer commented on Tallguyct's story chapter in Chapter 8 Good Morning Cows
Wow! This chapter sent nostalgia to haunt me! I grew up in Western NY State, and was surrounded by dairy farms. One thing never mentioned was if the boys milked the cows by hand, or did they use milking machines? All the farmers up there used milking machines, except for the few that only had a couple of cows. The farmers poured the milk through a strainer into milk cans, and the previous evenings milk, along with the next mornings milk was picked up and hauled to a milk plant for processing. By the time I graduated, most of the farmers had bulk milk coolers, so the truck came and pumped the milk from the bulk coolers into a bulk milk tank truck to be hauled away. Milk cans today are rare to find, and carry a high value as antiques. When I was a kid, my Mom did laundry with a ringer washer. In good weather, she hung it outside to sun dry, and in bad weather, hung it on lines in the basement hallway. Either way, it always got cleaned and dried. After I graduated, in 1959, my Dad bought Mom an automatic washer and dryer. -
Back to School and Right Back Home
Doug Spencer commented on FlyOnTheWall's story chapter in Back to School and Right Back Home
Wow, Geoff, I didn't realize you're writing this story in real time, until this chapter, dealing with the covid virus that has us all on lockdown! I sure hope this isn't a change of lifestyle that becomes a permanent way of living. I hope that you and our readers stay healthy and free of it. -
Chapter 6 Sean’s Story
Doug Spencer commented on Tallguyct's story chapter in Chapter 6 Sean’s Story
It's3:00 PM and I have yet to take time for breakfast. I'm loving this story, and the story about how Sean ended up with the farm. OK, so I'm binging--now on to chapter 7. -
Chapter 4 Libraries – A Place for Information
Doug Spencer commented on Tallguyct's story chapter in Chapter 4 Libraries – A Place for Information
Yeah! The term 'GAY' was not popular in the 1950's. During the summer of 1960 I traveled with a carnival for a few weeks. The man that ran a 'Bear Every Time' booth asked me if I was gay, or just acted that way? Not knowing his meaning, I agreed that I was naturally happy and cheerful. While in the Army, stationed in Germany in 1964, a soldier that I was friends with, questioned me about a reference to him as being gay, which he was not! That's when I learned that gay meant homosexual! BTW tallguyct you've got a good story going here, and I'm looking forward to the next chapters. I am close to your age, be turning 79 years young in September, and never have found Mr. Right! -
Chapter 1 THE JOCK MEETS THE NERD
Doug Spencer commented on Tallguyct's story chapter in Chapter 1 THE JOCK MEETS THE NERD
Nice start, now on to the next chapter. -
Chris, you and I seem to connect to the same stories, cool. I wonder of Eric Cartwright was once buddies with Donald Harper? I hope that Tristan admits to Finn who did this despicable deed! Looking for the next chapter.

Question and Answer
Doug Spencer commented on imperfect _pisces's story chapter in Question and Answer
Tristan gave Finn some pretty sound advice. If you can't please everybody, at least please yourself! It does seem that Finn has a desire for Tristan's friendship. It'll be fun to see where this goes, looking forward to the next chapters. -
WOW! Short chapters. I read the first five in about a half an hour. It's a lovely start to what can be a great story. I have marked this story as one to follow, so I will be notified when you add more chapters. I encourage you to keep writing!

Big BooBoo! I had Chapter 5 over half written--and I lost it! Dunno what happened, but it's GONE! I'm gonna have to start Chapter 5 all over again! Sorry for the delay.

You've been warned! As I had stated in a comment following Ch 35, I'm taking a break from Watergame to catch up with my boys in the JC story, and the DJ story, at least one chapter each. If you follow this story, you'll get notified when Ch 37 is posted. I had hoped to get J&J married off in this chapter, but it wasn't to be. Their wedding definitely will be covered in Chapter 37, however, it will be two or three weeks before I can get it written and uploaded. Now back to El Paso to see what Chance and Diego, and JC and Benny are up to, and then to North Carolina to catch up with DJ and Jamie, and their friends. Too many beautiful boys, and only one of me to tell their stories!
-
Just a heads-up folks. I've made the mistake of having three stories, all 'in process' at the same time. I'm hoping to get Jeff and Julian married off in Chapter 36, and then taking a break from Watergame for a while. I'll be going back to El Paso to catch up with JC, Benny, Chance and Diego, and then back to NC to catch up with DJ and Jamie. It's tough, keeping up with all my beautiful boys in three separate stories.

I think that J&J paying for Eddie and Matty's hotel room is more of a courtesy than a need. J&J really have no way of knowing that Eddie and Matty are wealthy, and I think that the latter two are discrete enough not to boast the fact. J&J may not be wealthy, but they're not a charity case.
-
Geoff, just a minor bit of criticism, you have Matty's POV, and below it Matty's POV. Shouldn't one of them be Eddie's POV?

And so ends another wonderful chapter in the Hamilton family. I loved the Mother and Sons chat that Mags had with Nate and Gleason. I feel just a bit sorry for Clay and Mags, ending up with, evidently, two gay sons, but their attitudes toward the boys show nothing but pure love. I'm certain that Matty and Eddie will eventually find a way to give the parents some grandchildren to spoil.

Cancer Sucks--But I Don't!
Doug Spencer commented on FlyOnTheWall's story chapter in Cancer Sucks--But I Don't!
I'm right with you, Geoff. In my original story of DJ, that was published on another site, CH 40 ended with a tornado that killed off most of the main characters. I was deluged with comments of hate, and lost all of my readers. I have now re-published the story on GA, with a completely rewritten CH 40. The tornado turned into a T-Storm, nobody got injured, and we're now up to CH 45 and still continuing. I LEARNED MY LESSON! You kill off loved characters, and it's suicide for the author! -
Dear Geoff, You have an amazing ability to bring your readers into the story. I feel like the Hamilton family is my family, maybe I am an invisible older brother to Eddie, Matty and Nate. I love these boys so much! I'm even falling in love with the 'Transformed' Donald Harper, and Conner is a delightful and loveable young man. It'll be fun to see Donald tell his father where the bear shit in the woods! I think Kimberly Clark owes you some $$$$ for causing us to buy so many boxes of Kleenex. Like other readers, I've gone through my share!
-
Sorry, never bought one. Did Jeff get gouged or get a great deal? It was $499 for the 10K, $599 for the 12K.
-
Wow! I've never before been so anxious to start a new chapter. I only posted Chapter 41 about an hour ago, and I'm ready to start on Chapter 42, and I think it may be a humdinger! DJ is going to reach out to his biological Mama, and I'm anxious to see how this goes. Mama doesn't know that DJ is gay, and I wonder how she will react when he finally decides to come out to her? I have so much love for DJ and Jamie, and these two boys seem to have an indestructible love for each other. I hope they get married someday.
-
Wow! Just Wow! I'm sorry that Donald has lost his Mom, but happy that he now has the support of Pastor Clay and Eddie and Matty. I have a feeling that Noah and Mike are going to be an intrigal element later in the story. With Matty leaving for college, I think Eddie and Donald will become close friends, but I hope not TOO close! Awesome story Geoff, and I'm looking forward to the next installment.

The Gap Year (Part One)
Doug Spencer commented on FlyOnTheWall's story chapter in The Gap Year (Part One)
What a bad time for a cliff hanger! I'm starving, but I can't take time right now to find something to eat because I need to learn what that bitch Frankie wants! As for hot Asian boys, some are pretty cute, but my weakness is hot Hispanic Boys! (and most Hispanic boys are hot! IMHO) Great chapter, Geoff. -
I can't top what some of your readers have commented. Somehow, I suspect Charlie is going to discover what David hides in his boxer-briefs, I'd like to see it also, LOL. I can't help it, I'm gay and gay guys like to see cock! Great chapter, now on to the next one.

I find it incredible that a father, regardless of his homophobia, could even consider killing his own son. It's bad enough that Jack had kicked his son out of his home. I hope that Ian makes a full and speedy recovery. Another awesome, but rather upsetting chapter. Now, on to the next one.
