@Paladin I absolutely loved writing this chapter. It felt like everything organically fell into place. I was laughing so hard over Ben's interaction with his dad and uncle I had to stop writing a couple of times. Your comment sparked the idea of the younger siblings trying to get their brothers back home, even before realizing they were a couple. It also created the rental cottage that never existed till yesterday when I began writing. There's a surprise in store for Brett and Vincent, and the way Trevor and Julie tell their brothers was also inspired by your comment.

While his brother was occupied, Brett walked into the family room at the back of the house. He loved Trevor's choice of decor. The walls were a very light blueish-white, and the flooring was the same lightly colored wood-grained laminate that ran through the first and second stories. The love seat and matching swiveling armchairs were white with light blue accent pillows, and they faced a big-screen TV mounted on the wall. @Greg Mine is actually very boring. Mine are the normal white ath ankle socks. Sometimes they have gray toe and heel patches.

Ben and Trevor were really fun to work with. I had to take a couple breaks while working on the exchange between Ben and Brett over the name change. I had that in my head since finishing the second chapter and couldn't wait to get to writing it. I also couldn't resist getting the Christmas Story reference in. It was the perfect progression from the energizer bunny comment.

The sky slowly brightened as snow gently fell on the two-story dark blue and white trimmed Cape Cod with its wraparound front porch. @Paladin I love your imagination, it must be awesome to live in your head. I was cracking up over the hyperdrive issue because it reminded me of a scene from one of my fave movies, "Spaceballs." When Lord Helmet is searching for Princess Vespa and Lonestar, the ship goes into ludacris speed and over shoots where they need to be. I'm in love with UniNavGuy. A campy navigation system is brilliant.

thanks @Summerabbacat I have the same reaction as Vincent when getting rimmed. My ass is very ticklish. Yes, Brett and Vince were very lucky. I wanted something exciting but not deadly to break up the playfulness.
