Jaycen and Bill were working in the barn. The younger of the pair was almost done mucking out the stalls when suddenly, a sickening, wrenching feeling in his gut made him drop the pitchfork and fall to his knees. His arms wrapped around his stomach as the redhead’s body visibly shook, and he rocked back and forth, groaning. Bill was replacing the aging hinges and door locks before they completely broke. When he heard the groans and saw Jaycen’s distressed condition, the man dropped his tool

That's very astute.

I can try, if I didn't giggle so easily you guys would never find me.

@chris191070 @akascrubber @Greg @BoyLove @Anton_Cloche @VBlew @weinerdog @Paladin Everyone, please focus on the adorably cute nodding emoji and pay no attention to the ticklish boy sneaking out of the room and running to hide.

@Greg love your comments, DG. You've always been an awesome source of support. @chris191070 pay no attention to the giggles coming from one closet. Next chapter is scheduled to post in the morning. Then everyone will have to wait for new chapters because it'll be caught up to what's already written.

@akascrubber really, you think all will be revealed in the next chapter? You've got a lot of optimism and hope inside of you. Love you

@weinerdog I love the way you explained your comments. Your thoughts were expressed in a very respectable, concise, and most importantly, love-filled manner.- 169 comments

In case any one is interested, I just republished the original unfinished version of LOF. Despite being extremely flawed in the grammar and family blending departments, in my opinion, it had a lot of heart and emotional depth.

Damn, it's always sad when they die this young. He was born the same year as my husband. I know he'll be missed.- 169 comments

The silver Twenty-Twenty Lincoln Navigator turned into the townhouse complex and pulled into the spot next to Brandon’s Hyundai. Linda and her husband, Tom, climbed out of the vehicle, and she locked the doors. As they walked up the stairs, Tom noticed the vehicle parked next to Greg’s truck. The patriarch whistled as he pointed at it and said, “Babe, look at the CJ7.” Linda turned her head and nodded. “I’ve never seen another one like it before. It’s definitely unique,” she said.

@Paladin Levie is very special. He and Mikey from "A Ticklish Thriller" are actually my faves of the characters that I've created. Yeah, I'm wondering where this revision will take me. I'm hoping to incorporate some things from my original vision into this one.

Yeah, the Baby Rambo moniker is something that's floated between a couple of stories. I've just felt that was the perfect nickname for my boys when they have to get physical and defend themselves. One thing that's always gotten on my nerves was in my youth gay men were characterized as either being really feninine, or closeted assholes, and I always said to myself if I create a gay male character they're gonna be playful, strong, sensitive, and comfortable with themselves. (I'm 45 now, so yeah Ive got the years under my belt to honestly make that statement. LOL) I love your comments, @centexhairysub

You and me both. I'm still asking myself the questions you have. I'll be asking them till after I write it. Then I'll be asking why did I write that. LOL Thank you, @centexhairysub

@Paladin I've already said, I'm definitely not hiding under the bed. Hope I can keep the excitement flowing. LOL You guys are making me actually work and think. LOL

@Anton_Cloche why, whatever do you mean? I'm innocent of all ridiculousness. You were close, Mystofellese. I named the character after Mister Mistofellese from Cats. We did a predominantly spoken version as a play in high school. There were only three songs. A guy named Danny sang "Gus The Theater Cat" with a girl named Crystal, she also sang "Memory," and I sang Mister Mistofellese. So, I guess I'm adding you to my growing list of ticklers.
-
Hope the excitement continues.
-
Ahh, but what's he gonna do to them in the meantime?
-
Ahh, but was it Mystofelles? That's still up for debate, all that's known so far is that he dropped the disc, came back to ask about it, and went to search for Ethan. Hehe sometimes things aren't as they seem. Gotta love my cliffhangers. LOL
-
I'm sooo not hiding under the bed. @chris191070 I hope Ethan stays unharmed too. I was happy that Alex was able to feel like he was helpful in figuring things out. I'm still back and forth on who's abducted him. Hehe that's gonna be interesting.

John's call went to voicemail after receiving the nine-one-one text from his son, then he felt a disturbance in his gut and knew his boy was in danger. He called George and asked him to inform the family and to put everyone on high alert while they weren't together. Then he gathered a couple of Deputies to help search, jumped into his truck, put the flashing bubble on the roof, enabled the siren, and sped over to Magic Manor. "This is my night to set this town a-rockin' on its heels. This i

@akascrubber @chris191070 I love the assessments. I was hoping to make Maddox even more creepy and devious than before. As well as giving some insight into his motivation without giving away too much. Hehe

On the way home, Greg remembered he needed to get some things for the dinner he’d planned for them. He quickly called Brandon and told him to go on to the house while he stopped at Kroger. Thirty-one-year-old Maddox Barksley sat in his truck outside the grocery store and got lost in his thoughts. He spent over a decade in prison and was released a few months ago. The ex-con accessed a savings account opened before his imprisonment and withdrew some funds to change his name, get plastic

@Paladin, depending on what happens next you may change your mind about being ready.

Thank you, @centexhairysub. I value and appreciate your input and observations.

Thanks @VBlew. You've been so supportive of both the original unfinished, and the revised versions that I hoped to hear from you on this one. So far 5 chapters have been rewritten, just finished the fifth chapter yesterday.
