Christmas Eve morning, Mikey was the first one up, as usual. He left the en suite bathroom, walked over to the dresser, pulled out his green and red candy cane boxers, put them on, and retrieved the matching ankle socks. Mikey stepped over to the bed, leaned down, softly kissed Dakota's cheek, then closed the door. Downstairs, he lit the Christmas tree, then the lights around the living and dining rooms, and placed his and Dakota's gifts for their brothers in their chairs at the dining room tabl

I LOVE the emotional depth and seriousness of this chapter. It's extremely well written and explained. -

Originally, i planned on having one final chapter, but I decided to split it into two parts when I saw how long it became. I ended up using 600 words to start the second part. As always, the brothers are just too damn adorable and playful. I loved seeing the interaction between Dakota and Lance, and Mikey and his dads almost sent me into diabetic shock. LOL -
Mitch resembled a grasshopper as he jumped from one lap to the next. The gleeful boy quickly discovered that Mikey, Dakota, Lance, Jai, and Adam were ticklish, like him, and it was easy to make them giggle, squirm and laugh. It excited him to find that the reactions he caused were for real and not faked like some adults did when he tickled them. He gave his dads and uncles each a long hug, kissed their cheeks, and made Mikey and Dakota promise they wouldn't change their minds about adopting him.

Thanks, @Lee Wilson. This, as I've said before was my first, what I call, full length story. It was awesome seeing the characters come to life and express themselves so vividly.

It's fun seeing the team's ebbs and flows in the competitions and watching them getting better as they work together.

Peter's come a long way, and really is a good sport. I actually just realized how cool Andy really is. He's got quite a talent for maintaining a balance between boosting Peter's confidence and doing things that keep him from getting a swelled head.

Colin leading the team's revolt was awesome. It was so cool seeing the guys taking up for Matthew and then accepting his relationship with Peter.

Another picture perfect handling of a teen's coming out. Andy is just totally awesome and such a great friend and brother.

Peter handled Matthew's hesitance over telling him about being gay and his own coming out perfectly. I also love how he didn't change anything between them, except putting more emotion behind his actions to let Matthew know he was being serious and not just "stirring."
