Sam & Devon "C'mon Devon, time to get up, kiddo." Twenty-nine-year-old Sam Miller opened the curtains and windows to let the morning's bright sunlight flood and the fresh ocean breeze fill his fourteen-year-old son Devon's bedroom. The six-foot-tall man shook his head and softly chuckled as he watched his kid pull the covers over his head, attempting to block the invading light. The man's chuckles got more pronounced when he heard the unintelligible grunts and moans muffled the comforte

Chapter 4: Prompt Proposal
Ticklishboy30 commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 4: Prompt Proposal
Holy Fuckin' Proposals!!!! I LOVED this chapter. I'm hoping Vin will say yes. I can't wait to see the wedding. They are the perfect couple, not trying to change one another, and loving their differences. -
Thank you, VBlew. I really appreciate your comment. It's been a lot more fun working on the revision also. With the first one, I put myself on a totally unsustainable schedule, not because of anyone, except myself. So, the chapters were totally everywhere. I'm taking my time now, and really thinking about where I want to go. I've done the same thing with the Thriller revision as well. Also, writing the chapters on Grammarly has been the biggest change and help to my writing. Another difference, is I've done the research for the revision. Greg's truck for instance, The 2012 Tacoma was on multiple lists in the top three pickups, the age requirements for the reserve deputies, and firemen, and the difference between the Glocks, I researched that as well, so my facts are accurate, not just supposition on my part. I took emotions out of some of the critiques, I never took them personally, but when I first read them, I wasn't in the right frame of mind to fully understand the sentiment behind them. Most of the critiques were about how quickly the people accepted each other. I think, having Greg and Lev, in a three-month relationship, addressed that issue. At least to me, the timeframe of the family's accepting each other and the beginning bonds are more realistic, because of the boys talking about each other to their own family. Like Brandon's excitement and eagerness over the need to meet Levie, then taking an instant liking to him, has actually happened to me. It's just some people you meet you just take an instant liking to. Add to that the experience of the robbery, was the cement between Lev and Bran. Linda and Jaycen's bonding and talking about the shared past was a great icebreaker for them.

Yeah, I was surprised how much I packed in and still thought it was a bit on the short side. But, also felt where it ended was perfect. LOL

Levie's is a bit more than the stress. He's also been faced with a major dose of mortality. Not just his own, but his Bropops also. To him, they're like supermen. Plus, he's realizing how he could lose them, just like his parents. Yeah, he and Jaycen are a lot alike, when it comes to their family and loved ones.

Maddox He couldn't stop smiling and boyishly giggling as he drove his truck down the dark and deserted two-lane country road. Maddox had the perfect night well, almost perfect it only missed the element of seeing the muscle-bound redheaded ape's reaction to his message. The dirty truck and driver finally reached the long dirt road drive where they resided. As he drove along the narrow and curvy former stagecoach road, Barksley's thoughts returned to wishing he'd seen the reaction to the pho

Emotion Filled Night
Ticklishboy30 commented on Ticklishboy30's story chapter in Emotion Filled Night
IKR, Just like in LOF, I felt Janice needed to be more evil and diabolical. Then I thought about the accomplice I'd originally given her and realized I had never given him a name, personality, or description. So, William was born. And, Janice became way eviler and controlling. I loved how Lance handled his situation with Will, he showed his controlled anger and strength. And, I felt his retaliation was perfect for his assailant. -
TL TL was driving around, getting lost in his thoughts. He didn't have a specific destination in mind at the moment. "I... I killed someone." The realization that he caused another living being, other than an annoying insect, to breathe his last breath was unbelievable to the man's mind. Then his thoughts switched to how erotic and amazingly tantalizing it was feeling the man's body thrash and writhe beneath him. The unchallenged God-like power that surged through his veins and wakening his

Feelings, Dreams, & Revelations
Ticklishboy30 commented on Ticklishboy30's story chapter in Feelings, Dreams, & Revelations
Yep, now it's just how long till they catch him. And, how much damage will he do in the meantime.? I loved Lyle's greeting when the phone rang. LOL -
Greg & Jaycen After calling Mama Ev, Lyle, Jaycen, Greg, Tom, and Linda left the hospital and parted ways. Tom and Linda got in the Navigator and drove home. Jaycen and Greg climbed in the jeep, and Greg headed back to the townhouse, with Jaycen in the passenger seat. Physically, he felt fine, but Jaycen was still a bit shaken up from earlier. The redhead watched the scenery pass by. He had a feeling of loss, breeding inside of him. His heart felt like it had split in two. Tonight would

I appreciate it BoyLove. As I started writing this, T.L. inspired me to write his original backstory, well part of it anyway. And, he wanted me to use the initials. Which were given to him as a teen. I loved the interaction between Sean and Lance, their relationship needed to be expanded and displayed as well. I originally had the idea for Mikey to encounter a promotion crazed cop, when I was writing the first version. However, that never came about, so this go-round, the cop morphed into an idiotic security guard. I loved how Mikey kept his cool and remained respectful even when he was being accosted. Although his little antics like the whistling was amazing. LOL

Thanks, Chris. Umm, you do realize for this to be a thriller, it's got to have a murder or two, right? LOL
-
T.L. It was getting colder the later it got. The frosty exhaled breath was the only proof of the man's existence as T.L. stood flush against the building's edge, dressed in all black, concealed by the darkness. The darkened figure kept his eyes on the tan KIA Sportage his target drove. It was a good thing he was a patient man because what the hooded man did wasn't an easy or quick process. Sometimes it took T.L. weeks, even months observing his intended victims. He'd watch them as they went

The Strength Of Family
Ticklishboy30 commented on Ticklishboy30's story chapter in The Strength Of Family
Yeah, and the way it's been happening, feels a lot more natural and not as awkward like before. (BTW, has anyone ever really looked at the spelling of awkward? The spelling actually matches the definition. LOL) -
Greg's Townhouse Linda gave the dispatcher Levie's room number then told them about the photo. The officer told her, one of the medical center's security guards would check on the young men. "Son, who can we call to help with Jaycen?" Tom asked as he handed his phone to his wife. "Who would do something like that?" Linda pushed the phone back to Greg. She couldn't look at her poor son in that condition anymore. Greg thought a minute, then snapped his fingers. "I know who to c

An Evening At Barefoot Books
Ticklishboy30 commented on Ticklishboy30's story chapter in An Evening At Barefoot Books
Thanks Chris I do appreciate it. In revising the chapter, I fell in love with the boys all over again. -
Mikey Adam & Jai Mikey Dante Carter closed and locked the door of his silver nineteen-eighty corvette convertible and walked across the parking lot of Barefoot Books & Lounge. Luck was very much on his side the day he got that car. He attended a foreclosure auction, and after losing two bids, the young man struck gold on the third and won the corvette. The classic sports car was almost new. It only had one owner and was kept in a garage. Mikey loved the feel of the soft, black leath

Meet Mikey, he's a twenty-two-year-old librarian and part-owner of Barefoot Books & Lounge. For the last two years and is finally ready to start dating again. Stir in a cluster of loving family members, a brother's crazy soon-to-be ex-girlfriend, and a tickle-crazed stalker/killer. Cover, and simmer till it comes to a boil, and by the time it's finished cooking, hopefully, you've got a recipe for an enjoyable story.

Ikr, I told ya I wanted to make him so detestable, maniacal, devious, and demonic. He's got no conscience. I couldn't believe the scene in my head of him going after Brandon. You notice, he didn't go for Lev. He's evil, not stupid. LOL I'm worried for Jayce though. The amount of stress he was already under, and seeing the pic of Bran. I don't think this is gonna be that quick of a fix for him. Troy's gonna be pissed as hell when he finds everything out.
-
Levie & Brandon Jaycen and Greg left after giving Levie and Brandon a kiss and hug. For a few minutes, the brothers sat in comfortable silence. They were processing the evening's events in their own ways. Levie's mind was coming to terms with his experiences. "I got shot today. I never expected something like that to happen. I mean, I know shootings happen. You see it on the news almost every day. I still can't believe I got shot." Brandon looked at his red-haired brother and softl

Thanks, Raven, I love hearing from you also. Funny thing, I was listening to the three songs day before yesterday, as I was writing the chapter. And, of course, you can have poker buddies in the afterlife. You gotta do something to pass the time other than eating chocolate chip cookies. LOL
