Keith sat in his office, looking out the window at the falling snow. He was enjoying something that didn't happen very often, an afternoon alone. Pat and Art were with his Aunt Pam, while Joey, James, and Tyler were at the park. For the first hour, the young author started coming up with ideas for his next book. Then, his mind drifted to his childhood and the holidays he'd spent in the manor with his family. He chuckled when he conjured the memories of him and his brother, Travis, chasing each o

Thanks @VBlew, this family is really an amazing unit. I'm really having fun working with Joey, he's an awesome character, and always up for something fun. It's also an interesting challenge for me having to come up with interesting ideas that don't involve the people getting hurt because of someone else's actions.

The mood around the table was very festive because, for the moment, the joy of everyone being together outweighed Pam's diagnosis. Everyone noticed the brightness of Keith's smile and sheer happiness at having his late mother's sister back home. After lunch, family elders were given a tour of the Victorian manor. For Pat and Art, it was their first visit since Tyler's adoption, and for Pam, it was her first time seeing the property since she sold it to Keith five years ago. The veteran sing

No sinistery characters in this one.

Keith was floating higher than cloud nine when he left the TV studio after his interview. The joy poured from him as he got into the SUV and started his drive back home because he couldn't wait to see his soon-to-be in-laws, although James' parents were already his parents in his heart. A huge smile graced his facial features from the memory of his first time meeting Arthur and Pat Covington. After being introduced to the loving couple, they told him to call them Mama and Papa, but only if he wa

Thanks @chris191070 and @VBlew this story's been a blast to write so far. I hope you'll continue to enjoy the fun and loving spirit of this effort. With all the negativity and uncertainty in the world today, I decided to write a more positive, loving, and hopefully heartwarming story. It's really amazing to see these guys come alive with each new chapter.

The door to James' bedroom opened, and Tyler's tear-stained face peeked inside. The boy quietly made his way to the bed and climbed under the covers beside his Uncle's slumbering body. When he felt the mattress move, the brunet's eyes slowly opened. "Mmm, you okay, baby boy?" Joey softly whispered as he pulled the shivering boy closer to him. "I had a bad dream," Tyler responded between his light sniffles. "It's okay, Ty. Everyone has bad dreams, even Uncles," Joey stated with a s

Just started the next chapter this morning.

You too, thanks @JohnnyC

I really loved how this chapter came together. Seeing Joey imitating a puppy was just too adorably cute and perfect for his personality. LOL

Tyler's eyes sparkled with joy as he cuddled against Joey and lay his head on the older man's shoulder. "I love you, too, Uncle," he softly said. Since his arms were full, holding his nephew, Joey let the tears stream down his slightly pink cheeks. He gently put the boy down, leaned against the wall, pulled his boots off, and wiped his eyes. James sent the video to his parents, and Keith then toed off his sneakers. Joey winked at Tyler and did his interpretation of Scrappy-Doo from Sco

And, I sang to myself, to make sure Joey's lyrics would fit. LOL

In New York, a couple of feet past the Brooklyn Bridge, a helicopter hovered over a speed boat as the pilot maneuvered the chopper to avoid the flying bullets being shot at it. Bystanders gasped and pointed at the man hanging from the bar. Hands flew to the open mouths as he let go and dropped onto the boat below. As soon as he landed, the muscular brunet started throwing punches and ducking gunshots as he powered his way through the four or five guys protecting the driver. After another few min

Just started on the next chapter this morning. Should be done within the week or by the beginning of next week. I'm giving myself a more relaxed schedule of writing this time around. That way I can really give thought on what's happening, and who the chapter's focusing on. I'm really grateful and excited that you like the start.

A family's Christmas gathering gets enhanced by some shared fun and love.
-
Fluffy white snow fell from the grey clouds that cluttered the mid-December day's sky and covered the small New England town. The excitement and anticipation of Christmas Day were infectious. People smiled as they offered wishes for happy and prosperous holidays when they passed each other. There were festive wreaths, Santa Claus, multi-colored lights, and reindeer decorating streets, restaurants, bars, offices, homes, and schools. "Babe, I can't find my burgundy turtle neck shirt," twenty-

Tri's an awesome horse. Gold, the stallion in Zarek Dragon's Another Chance inspired him.
-
Don't judge him too harshly, I think you'll come to like him as you get to know Rhett.

Not long after returning from their cruise, Levie, and Greg sat down and had a discussion about the future. Greg listened carefully as Levie explained his idea about cutting back on the day to day operation of the ranch, without giving up any ownership of the property. Greg asked him what he planned to do with the extra time, and was pleasantly surprised when he got the answer. The brunet took a few days to fully consider Levie’s plan, and the best course of action on how to bring it to fruition

Love Is All That Matters
Ticklishboy30 commented on Ticklishboy30's story chapter in Love Is All That Matters
I wanted to throw in some appropriate comedic moments that wouldn't be too overwhelming, to break up the strong emotions. This chapter had to bring together everyone's humor, emotional attachment, and family pride. @BoyLoveI'm really happy that you enjoyed it. I hope you'll like the epilogue as well. I think it might have a few surprises. -
Levie’s eyes blinked as his senses wakened. The redhead smiled, as he stretched, and sat up. “Good morning, my almost husband,” Greg softly whispered. “Back at ya, my sexy knight,” Levie giggled, then licked his lips as his mate threw the covers off, and revealed his muscular nude body. He leaned over, and started placing gentle, loving kisses on the firm hairy chest. Greg’s body slightly wriggled as low husky moans escaped his parted lips. Not a second later, hands massaged and c

@BoyLove @chris191070 Thanks for the comments, I love you guys. This truly was a gratifying chapter. As always, right up until I was writing the scene, I was unsure of how to work one last appearance by Stacey, and Mark before the wedding. Every idea I'd come up with, seemed overdone, and too overwhelming. Then, as I wrote, the simplicity of ghost writing on the headstone, was the perfect, and most meaningful idea. And, @BoyLove I don't have any plans on a sequel, but ya never know.
