  1. One of my favorite parts of their exchange, was Stacy talking about Mark fixing a ball game. LOL That had me cracking up like crazy. LOL
  2. As always, thanks Chris I appreciate your comments and reactions. This was a fun and emotional chapter with Stacy showing up and the guys interaction. I loved Stacy threatening Levie. LOL She's fiesty, even in the afterlife. If you watched Charmed I've imagined Stacy to be like Penny, (Grams) She had a great sense of humor, and was a badass. LOL And Jaycen playfully telling Brandon he had to take the shirt Jaycen wanted was awesome. LOL
  3. Levie Levie's unconscious body lay on the hospital bed. He'd come through the surgery with no complications. The doctors got him moved into a room, and they were waiting for him to wake up from the anesthesia. A soft, soothing voice gently drifted in the young man's ears. It was a pleasant feminine voice. One that Levie hadn't heard in ten years. He recognized the song "The Last Unicorn," his favorite growing up. Then it changed to "Return To Pooh Corner," Levie's second favorite child
  4. Thank you, I'm really grateful. It was a little hard to write, but well worth it. I loved how the relationship between Triton, and Jaycen came out. He's an amazing horse. I was tempted to have a single tear running down Tri's cheek, but thought that might be just a bit too much. LOL And, yes I had to slip Maddox in, actually, some of his thoughts added a little bit of comic relief. like comparing Brandon to a hamster in a wheel. LOL The image was cute. Also, the interaction between Stuart and Troy on the staircase was awesome. I love Uncle Stu, he's a great character. And, damn, Greg and Brandon, they really amazed and tore at my heart seeing them together in the hospital.
  5. It's not so much shock, as it is his recollection of what happened. He's only focusing on the mechanics of the events, he's not focusing on the importance of both his, and Levie's actions. Bran's such a loving and protective person, he doesn't yet see just how important, and invaluable he was to the situation. If he wasn't there, Levie might have bled out, or suffered more damage.
  6. Greg's Townhouse Greg dropped his phone and fell to his knees. He couldn't cry, he couldn't move, Greg couldn't feel. Brandon's words him into shock. His breath came in labored huffs and, his body broke out in a cold sweat. Linda ran to get a wet washcloth, then she wrapped her arms around her son, wiped his forehead with the cloth, and cradled him in her arms. Just like she'd done since his childhood. Tom bent down, picked up his son's phone, and put it to his ear. Instantly, the
  7. And, all the chapters are updated. I'm going to be working on chapter 5 hopefully, sometime today.
  8. Hey guys, some of the chapters will be slightly changing, for the better. I've been running the first four chapters through Grammarly, and have been replacing the original post, with the grammatically correct ones. I'm currently working on chapter four now, and have one last change to check in the third chapter.
  9. Wow! Thanks, I do appreciate it and am grateful for your comment. You've always made some awesome assessments. I'm not making any promises on how long Maddox will be around. After all, he's got an unveiling coming at some point. So, he's gonna be causing more trouble along the way. However, the family will all deal with things as they come along. Things may happen to them, but it only makes them stronger, and more bonded together.

Not really, Most of the characters are being trickled in. And, there's a couple of extra surprises.
  11. Brandon, and Levie are so cute together. I love their playful, and loving interactions. I'm really glad, it was Brandon with Levie this evening. I don't think Greg would've been as equipped to handle the situation. Brandon's emotions were running high, but he didn't completely freak, and he really got to show his true feelings of brotherhood, and protectiveness for Levie. Those two are gonna be inseparable as brothers. Greg surprised me, with his ability to stay calm, and being able to separate past, from present. His reaction, was very reserved, and expressed in a very mature fashion. And, Linda got to fully, explain, her side of things. I loved, how she didn't once, say she was only doing what she thought was right. She expressed her feelings, and the driving force behind them. I don't agree with her past stance, but I agree with her progression. I'm also glad, that she made sure to state, there was no wrongdoing or abuse. She could've made a false report, and totally screwed the family, but she was fair, just misguided. I'm also proud of Jaycen's being able to keep his emotions and feelings from disabling him, from being strong. It was awesome, getting the opinion of the ranch hand, as he watched Jaycen go through his rollercoaster of the event. He also showed great restraint, with Maddox. I originally had the idea, of him literally beating the fuck outta Maddox, but it wasn't a match for his personality. He's not vindictive. He shows just enough strength, and anger, but doesn't go overboard, and Troy wasn't dead. So it didn't warrant a complete hulk morph. This was a bit of a departure for me. Actually, Linda's history with the Stillman's is what I had in mind, for the original story, but I wanted more of a cute fuzzy feeling for LOF then. So, since I was redoing the story, I decided to go with my original idea. I didn't plan on having the two things happen, but, we all know, life happens. I'm not used to writing truly, despicable, deranged characters, so I was a bit nervous, when creating the scene with Maddox. I only hope I pulled it off, in making him as disgusting, and deplorable as I've envisioned. He's definitely, not done. And, there's still the mystery, of who he really is. LOL I've also made a slight change in the story. I was doing some research on reserve deputies, and discovered, they have to be at least 21, so then I was faced with either making Lev, 21, or removing his status as a reserve deputy. Removing the status won out, so now it's just Troy, and Jayce that are the reserve deputies. It was easier, than going through the chapters and changing Lev's age in all of them. I'd only mentioned the deputy thing in one, or two chapters. He's gonna become a reserve deputy, when he turns 21. However, the three of them are still reserve firemen, you only have to be 18 for that.
  12. Linda & Tom Linda brought her hand up to cover a yawn as she stood at the counter with two cups and waited for the coffee to brew as her husband Tom plated their breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon. "Babe, I think Brandon will be more comfortable if Greg's with him when we have our talk," Tom said as he brought the plates to the table. "I agree with you," Linda said as she fixed their coffee. The couple continued their discussion, one of the topics was their decision to
  13. I really loved the way Brandon, and Levie's introduction turned out. In my opinion, it was much better, and didn't feel forced, like in the original. I did love creating the fun tickling scenes, but after revising the story, I'm realizing, just how much the original version was drowned in it, and lost focus. By dialing it back, and making it less graphically described, I've accomplished what I originally wanted. Which was to make a more mainstream story, with an element of my love for tickling. It's also been letting the true emotions shine through.
  14. Fun fact: I got the idea about the town from two places, Hazzard County, and Charlottesville. I actually live about fifteen to twenty minutes away from C'ville, and have lived there, for awhile. Anyone who's ever been there, it's a beautiful small city. The locals have always said "it's the biggest small city you'll ever live in." C'ville's got most of the big attractions, and good theater productions, with a very small town feel, until the college kids come back. LOL I have actually walked from downtown to Barracks Rd, in about two to three hours, which was about a little under a quarter of the entire city. So, I combined that, with my memory of the town square in "Dukes Of Hazzard."
  15. Literally, Maddox, and his name came to me when I sat down to write the chapter yesterday. I wasn't sure I could pull him off, since I'm not naturally a sadistic, or maniacal person. However, I'm actually proud of the way he came out. I wanted him to be more threatening, dangerous, and longer lasting than Milo, and Jordan. Which, I'm working on revising them, and their roles as antagonists. We'll see what happens. I'm hoping, I can keep it going, and keep y'alls interest, as well as mine. My ADHD is bad, even with medication, so it's hard for me to stay interested in things.
  16. I told you guys, I was working on it. It was hard, deciding if I should throw in some action, or wait another chapter. LOL
  17. Maddox Thirty-one-year-old Maddox Barksley sat in his truck outside the grocery store and got lost in his thoughts. He'd spent over a decade in prison, and a few months ago, was released. However, Maddox wasn't his real name. A few weeks after being released, the ex-con accessed a savings account he opened before his imprisonment. Maddox withdrew some funds to change his name, get plastic surgery, and colored contact lenses. Now that he was back in town, the only thing on his mind was getti

And Brandon, he's so cute. It's fun recreating these guys. I love the depth they're showing. It's also nice, seeing Bill being so fatherly, and interacting with Levie, in a way he didn't get to before. It's also worked out a lot better, having the intimate moment with Jayce, Troy, and Levie, as the dads tell him a little bit about them raising him, when they were ten. Now, let's see how the first night goes for everyone.
  19. At The Ranch After Jaycen and Troy left his room, Levie started choosing clothes to bring for the week. The twenty-year-old got dressed while he packed. Levie pulled out a pair of slim-fit, grey jeans and put them on over his blue bikini briefs. Then he chose a dark green shirt that made his red hair look more fire-like, and after putting on his favorite pair of Scooby-Doo socks, he stepped into his tan, two and three-quarter-inch heeled cowboy boots. He'd almost finished packing when he de
  20. I'm trying to work that out. I might use some of the same antagonists, with slightly altered or different situations for the boys, and family to face.
  21. I'd also like to thank Chris191070, for being an amazing sounding board, and helping me make this a better chapter.
  22. Greg & Brandon Greg Wilmont stepped out of the bathtub, pulled the bath sheet from the rack, dried off, and hung it over the shower curtain to dry; He slipped into a pair of grey boxer/briefs and faced the mirror. Greg picked up the hair gel, squeezed some in his palm, rubbed his hands together, and distributed it through his curly, neck-length, jet-black hair; he used his fingers to gently toss his damp locks around to achieve the controlled and messy hairstyle he wanted. Next, he retr
  23. Levie (pronounced Levy) and his boyfriend Greg, have been dating for three months. Because of their busy lives, the couple decides to move in together, so they can strengthen their relationship. Luckily, the young men, have a loving, and supportive family to help them through life's changes, and storms. Together, Levie, and Greg discover no matter what comes against them, they've always got the "Love Of Family" to help them be strong. (This is a revision of my original effort.)
  24. At The Ranch Greg made a full recovery, from his stabbing. It made the raven haired teen smile, every time he thought about how protective, and loving his red headed angel was. The first couple weeks back home, Levie spent his free time making sure Greg had everything he needed, and wanted. The nineteen year old never dreamed, he could get as many foot massages, or tongue baths as he did, and he couldn’t wait to return the favor. Even though he loved receiving them, Greg loved giving just a
  25. Thanks Chris. It was fun writing this. I really loved Kennie asking for the Porsche. LOL
