Damn, if I ever need to have a security team, I want one as well organized and proficient as Libby's guys. Holy Shit they were on point.

The families gathering at Christmas was perfectly presented. John definitely has style and is totally into ensuring Dean's success with becoming a part of his family. It so awesome that he added Dean's name to the diamond bracelet. And Libby was great with her interaction with Debbie. The Moms in this story are totally comfortable in their own skin and are kickass.

Okay, and the lesson we learned from this chapter is, don't fuck with Libby Trask. I LOVE her.

Yeah, i totally stand behind my comment about Sean, Bob, and Mike. They're the perfect uncle and big brothers.

I love Dean's and John's family. Debbie is such an amazing Mom. Sean is the perfect uncle figure. Mike, and Bob are great role models and older brothers for Dean. It's really nice when there's no bigotry and discord in the family dynamic.

This was an amazingly sweet chapter. I love the fact Ty was concerned about Dean, and the lovemaking between John and Dean was so beautiful.

Well, since Dean's name is in the title, I'm guessing he's a survivor,and will get through this bit of action. LOL I'm a mystery and suspense junkie, you've done well keeping my interest.

It seems to me they could've come up with a better scenario, or even left the part with him and John holding hands out. They could still go with the bigot story, without outing Dean. There are plenty of people who aren't gay who've had antigay slurs hurled at them. I do admit, it's an interesting ploy, just hope it's worth it and doesn't cause Dean and John any hateful drama.

Dean's mom is AMAZING. Sean seems like he's gonna be a great person to help Dean navigate his sexuality and not take advantage of him. Sooo loving these characters so far.

I'm loving Dean and how nonjudgmental he is about his evolving sexual interests. Hopefully, he'll find a nice guy to give him some real love and affection.

Bullets and mobsters and witness protection, oh my. Holy Shit! This is exciting. @Daddydavekyou masterfully weave an edge-of-your-seat mysterious tale. Dean's emotions are so real it makes you feel as if you're living his experience.

Wow! @DaddydavekI LOVED this first chapter. Your descriptive powers are great, i could feel Dean's and his Mom's distress over the initial action. Sean is a great character, at least from his introduction. I'm looking forward to the next chapters.

I thought it'd be fun to put a little story within a story. I was gonna write more but found that was a good place to end the chapter. I'm working up a nice surprise for the next, and what's probably gonna be the final chapter.

Thanks guys. I was really happy with the way this chapter turned out. Mikey wanted to let his natural protective nature and badassery to shine through. The story is coming to a close, and yes, there will be an explanation of why Mikey didn't have his usual reaction to being tickled. Hehe
