Dry, yup. Warm hmmm -23 and god knows what it is with the wind chill off of lake ontario. LOL. its a lovely cdn winter morn, gotta love them, just keep the coffee pot and the tea kettle going.

Please tell me that Aluminum war ship is not a real thing???? who in their right mind would do that with a metal that is basically putty? but then again if they are stupid enough to build it, we will gladly sink it! the only thing it is actually good for is beer cans LOL , even then i miss the good old Stubbies??? i hope there are others old enough to know what a stubby is LOL

The Rockies is great place to reflect on yourself, some of the best work of the Creator to show you what is possible out there, may you come back to us refreshed, renewed, and ready to take us all along on whatever voyage you decide to take! of course watch out for the Squirrels, lol.

hmm. wondering if Victor is au naturelle, found dads old skinning knives from the farm, i could arrange a clipping, lol, or better yet i can get the castration kit, hmmm pincher or banding, decisions decisions, both? well next chapter, next meeting, please guys no more peanuts, takes forever to get the Squirrels to go home, and watching a fat man in a wheelchair driving back and forth under the clothesline beating the hell out of the area rug to get all the little bits out, has become a neighbourhood event, i should sell tickets

thanks for the chapter and happy birthday. all these characters familiar, i am. lol channelling yoda, i grew up in ottawa valley across river from hawkesbury, cornwal is about an hour away, simcoe is main st in town i live in, i live on wellington, nelson is just around the corner. one of the reasons i like this story so much is its familiarity

OK, something is feeling off here, a couple or three phrases throughout this gem has me thinking Dahl and Ari are the same person yet different personalities, just a feeling ya know like when your sitting there minding your own business munchin on a peanut and your tail starts twitching for no reason you can see or smell.

Love it! kids, kids and more kids! Great way to raise kids too, it takes a village, lol, as my siblings said they had parents, grand parents, 20 sets of aunts and uncles between the two sides, as well as enough of my fathers cousins to sink a battleship, lol. i came along a decade later when things had calmed down and thinned out LOL. Hmm, think i still have Dads skinning knives and all the Butcher knives and saws some place, when Marc finds out who "They" are let me know, snicker, might even let the Squirrel army in on it, They love collecting nuts, so there would be no worries about "Them" reproducing.

LOL, mountain air!! hahaha, he is being like a teen, a slight breeze could get him going! lol. love the description of this lake and cabin, sounds like a true family spot, makes me miss our old family property in the Laurentians.(lots and lots of Squirrels ) It used to be great to spend time there, but as the family got larger there were tensions, Dad finally had enough of his siblings and just sold it, split the money amongst them (and their kids and grandkids, lol, nothing like throwing gas on a fire Dad!) anyways, glad Bella is improving, making a strong start as a group of friends who look out for each other

OMG, loving this story, started reading it today, i am hooked and wanting more! with all the weather changes this past 5 days, seems like hourly, been laid up in bed bored out of my skull, pain meds not working so good, but the last couple hours have been chuckling my way through this, laughter is the best medicine. thanks

LOL sounds like we are in same boat. I am just east of Toronto, we had a great day yesterday mid teens C, but temp dropped to -6 C during night and they had an emergency water shut down in my apartment building yesterday afternoon, so no water till just after noon today, was nice to get a chapter in the night to make a rather annoying night into much better one!

lol, yup all spick and span between projects, christmas baking supplies all put away now, the sewing machine is back and the quilt project is spread out, all sorts of 9 inch squares of wild animals, bears wolves dear elk moose owls cougars cardinals, looked for some squirrels as per original topic lol, but no one has any prints with them:(
