  1. Rabbi Schulman prepared me for the High Holy Days. I had Mason on one side and Black on the other as we sat in the synagogue. I found the experience fascinating and exhilarating. Black turned out to be a very good teacher. Mason participated but I could tell it was all from rote and that he wasn’t emotionally or spiritually moved. I finished the week exhausted and humbled. The time was drawing nigh before we flew to Paris. I was looking forward to a break from school. The professors were already
  2. It will take some time before Pate is able to be open about himself. Even to Timmy. We learn more about Timmy's past and then Pate can be open about his past. We have a summer Hurricane and then Labor Day weekend before the fellows can really explore who they are and what they want.
  3. Mymst8e, Timmy is a sweetheart of a fellow. He has found his mate and his natural instincts can come through. Pate is ready for ploughing, but Timmy doesn't know how to drive that mule. He has to learn the difference between gee and haw before he goes down that row. Randolph is going to be back soon as will Granny Louise. She is so wonderful except when.................. More to come. Thanks for reading. Mac
  4. Thanks Mym8te, The romance is growing. They are love birds. The business line has been sublimated while they are enjoying their summer. It will come roaring to life in their near future. Granny Louise will have a voice in that, as well as a character who has not been introduced yet. Thanks for reading, Mac
  5. Patti was singing in the background. “You are my friend…………..” I loved me some Patti. Timmy was rather indifferent to her voice which I could not understand. It was a rare Saturday morning in that it was just the two of us at the breakfast table. Michelle and Trace had journeyed inland for a party for their upcoming nuptials. We were expecting company later but this morning it was just the two of us. I had made vegetable omelets, wheat toast, hash browns and corned beef hash. I couldn’t help
  6. Flesco, Thank you for your compliments. Both fellows are growing in such tremendous ways. They complete each other because of their mutual support and love. Mr. Jenner has always been a bit of a miser. Remember Mason had to use his father's bathing suit because Herbert Jenner wasn't going to purchase another one. Plus, the bit of a blow-up about the jock straps. Judy Jenner is a push over with her only child. Judy was an only child also. Their feet are planted on firm ground to move forward together. They remember their Whitman but more important they have discovered their life partner and that makes them strong. For much of life, except for his home life, has been incredibly easy for Jimbo. He expects that Hebrew will be easy but it is extremely difficult and Rabbi Schulman is doing this under duress. They will reach detente. Cohen's hands are all over this. BTW, I having started writing a related story about Todd. I am quite pleased with that story which will debut on December 1. Jimbo and Mason make a few appearances in Todd and Erick's story. The guys are building their logical family which will be hard to leave when the time comes. Thanks for reading and commenting. Mac
  7. My buddy Jay, Thank you for being such a faithful reader. I am glad that you found the story on this site. Their lives are now settling into a routine except for two major events coming up in October: Order of the Arrow Fall Retreat and their trip to Paris. Lots of opportunities for challenges and growth. They are two amazing fellows and I am so happy they are telling me their story which I can relate to readers. Mac
  8. It was late Saturday afternoon and we needed to get ready for the gay student event at William and Mary. It was a perfect fall day and we had on our W&M tee shirts, shorts and sneakers. We also grabbed sweaters in case the temperature dropped when it got dark. When we walked into the garage Black was waiting for us. He had on a W&M tee shirt, shorts and sneakers. I barked a laugh and said he hardly looked like a student. He asserted that he looked like a graduate student and would fit in
  9. She is very generous sharing her thoughts and wisdom. She has much more wisdom to share with Pate and Timmy.
  10. Louise is a force of nature. A little bit of her goes a long way. It is a revelation to Pate that he is in love. His bruised, battered heart has given itself to Timmy. Perhaps he is the most astounded of all. Thanks for reading. Mac
  11. “I don’t know why you won’t take a key to the house.” I was urging ET to take the key I had put on the breakfast room table. It was the week after July 4th and Timmy had not gone home after our weekend together. “I don’t need one. This is your house and I come over when I am asked.” He slid the key across the table so it lay in front of me. “You practically live here now. Your clothes are here, your movies are here, your hot little butt is here. I don’t understand.” I smiled when I menti

Wow, another tremendous chapter. I am so emotionally connected to these characters. My heart is aching with the pain of Tad and Markus but also bursting with the generosity of spirit and love that is being extended to them. You are playing heavy with my emotions. I give thanks for your story telling and writing. Mac
  13. Flesco, Thanks for your continued reading of the story of Jimbo and Mason. Given the critical nature of Jimbo's health at this point, the doctors are pushing hard for resolution. Dr. Yael points out that early intervention when triggers present are necessary to save his life. Mason has tremendous inner strength. Jimbo realizes that and becomes dependent on Mason (when he is not being a bratty teenager). Jimbo and Mason standing together are a formidable pair. They love each other and that will see them through whatever life throws their way. Mac
  14. Jimbo's father is an abuser. Often in abusive households, a spouse is also abused (his mother) so that leads to a sense of hopelessness or helplessness. This passive person is often seen as a co-abuser because of the inaction. Remember that Jimbo's mother made Mason a turkey sausage biscuit the last morning they were at the house so he would have something to eat. She understood that her husband would not be able to tell the difference between the pork and turkey sausage biscuits so it was safe for her to take that action. Jimbo's mom has an upcoming intervention and revelation about her life that has a powerful impact on him and Mason. Get ready. Mason has natural, intuitive instinct. Even though he can act out his teenage years (he can be a brat), he is highly evolved in understanding the supranatural and how to function in this giving way. He understands Jimbo better than Jimbo understands himself. He is an artist and caregiver. He met and then claimed Jimbo. I don't think that Jimbo would have acted if Mason had not taken the lead. Thanks for reading and responding. Mac
  15. Growing up in the south, Jimbo was thought of as a corruption or diminution of James and Robert. It has often been used as a nickname for James which is an Anglicized name taken from the Hebrew name Yaakov. Thanks for reading the story and responding. Mac
  16. Friday was filled with medical appointments. I was not a happy person by early afternoon. I had a complete physical, they had drawn at least of gallon of blood from my left arm (I exaggerate but it felt like they took that much), they had run brain scans twice when the first set of results weren’t registering properly, they had prodded and poked me until I wanted to hit them. I had not been allowed to have fluid or food after midnight so at lunchtime I overate in the cafeteria. Now, I just wante
  17. Brokenbind, Jimbo does have impeccable manners. Thanks for noting that. He uses situational ethics when it is to his advantage. Hence, he is dealing with a scum bag at the lifeguard service and drops to that level. Not the best action for our Jimbo, but alas he is human. It is a rarity for him. I never ate eggs at Mother Poole's. I was often leery of other things she prepared. Mother had a delicious sense of the absurd. Mac
  18. Canuck, Thanks for reading. Yes, reality is going to hit. They are both hyper-sexual but they will start to deal with other aspects of their lives. You are spot on: Jimbo is surprised that he has fallen in love again.
  19. It was July 3rd and it was a typical hot and humid day in Nags Head. ET arrived at the house exhausted and tired after a long work week. He had struggled to finish a big job and had met the deadline. He was ecstatic but exhausted. I was glad that ET was here for the weekend since Jube and Garry were coming for the holiday. They were actually due at any moment. I told ET to hop in the shower and I would fix cocktails. Hors d'oeuvres were already made and waiting in the fridge. "It would b
  20. Jimbo's solution is one of several choices that may bear fruit. Cohen has to work his magic.......or not.
  21. Mason is in the throes of his teenage years where he is having a melt down one moment and then is very mature the next. Expected at that age, but there is also his intelligence which will carry him through. Jimbo is not only a partner but a mentor in his growing maturity. Their love for each other will carry them through.
  22. I left home early on Wednesday morning knowing that I couldn’t be late for all of my 8 a.m. classes. Plus, I never knew what the traffic was going to be like on the Peninsula. I had to listen to morning radio to find out if the traffic was going to be dreadful both morning and afternoon. It was not going to be predictable. This morning, I was actually very early and decided to grab a cup of coffee in the student union. I was taking my first sip while looking at the student bulletin boards. They
  23. Farm cats are the norm on farms. Essential to keep mice and other vermin under control. Jimbo's father is a piece of work....that is a polite way of saying what he really is.
  24. “Pate, you need to listen to what he has to say. He came to work crying this morning. I have not seen him like this since he started to work here. I told him to go home and get himself together.” “Michelle, have you talked with Trace about this?” “No, Blue made me promise to reach out to you and no one else.” “I don’t think so.” “Pate, he wants to come over and explain. He doesn’t want food or drink or drugs.” At that point, she giggled. “Well, who knows if he wants drugs. Half o
  25. Pate will need to change his ways if he is truly interested in forming a relationship with Timmy. He also has to be careful that his behaviors don't come back to bite him. Mac
