Good morning Anton, Thank you for reading the story. I am so pleased that the story line pulls you forward. This is book 2 of a trilogy. There are 37 chapters in this book - daily from December 1 through January 6. The first book of the trilogy is "Jimbo" which is found on this site. Book 3 will debut in late spring 2020. Pate and Timmy are introduced in the book, "The Boys of Summer." Only in book 2 are there daily 'readings' as they correspond to the Advent, Chanukah and Christmas seasons. Tonyr, Yep. Like a bad penny. Of course, Jeremiah wants him prosecuted and put under the jail. Matan and Yonatan are more concerned about Todd's need for anger management counseling inside or outside of jail. Bobby keeps his thoughts to himself when he is around others but is primarily sad about what happened. He doesn't understand the propensity for violence. He is more concerned about how is going to pay all of the medical bills. He puts up a good front but thinks that his college career is ending because this assault is taking the little bit of hard earned cash that he has. Thanks for reading. Mac

Dave, The fellows are exhausted. Todd has a quicker reset time than Erick both mentally and physically. Erick also experiences life more viscerally than Todd hence his entire body is affected. He will recover quickly but will pay the price for "taking a day off" in the midst of final exams. Neither of them have had a doctor's visit recently and perhaps one is in orders.
