    Thank you. The tree that originally inspired my mental picture is actually in California. I saw it a long time ago when I was there for work. The Morton Bay Fig Tree can grow to be very impressive.

    They're still his parents, and Bobby wants what he thinks is best for everyone. Jamie has pointed out that he thinks Bobby is wrong, but we'll have to wait and see which one is right.

    Love is an amazingly strong force. People will do things for love that they wouldn't do for any other reason.

    Keeping hold of childhood friends is probably the toughest because we change so much in the early years. Friends made later in life, from about adulthood onwards, tend to be easier to keep for longer.

    Thank you! I know, as an author, when the characters are real, and that's when the characters start telling me what they're doing, rather than me telling them. I had that a lot in this story

    Thank you! I won't say I won't do a short story, but at the moment I don't have any plans to do so. I tend to fall in love with my characters, but what happens next is sometimes best left to the imagination

    Thank you! I've got another story in the pipeline and I hope to start posting it in February. It's not complete yet, though, so I won't be posting every couple of days like I have with this story.
