    I slowly approached the two men to scan them, both seemed rather normal and actually didn’t give any outward signs of being under some sort of influence. That’s a good indication.     Dinner was rather fun, everyone seemed to start relaxing around my elf relatives, it seemed like the days we’d spent here in the realm has made the people I’ve brought in from earth learn to be less awkward when it came to interacting with elvish royalty. Of course the hesitation on being less formal or how to balance being familiar and respectful crept in every now and then.     I totally agree. I think Chris will need a very good PR team! I mean how do you even humanize/Elvenize such a powerful person? I doubt photo ops eating hotdogs would be enough. 😂

    Dinner that evening was filled with excited chatter about the sparring experiences of the day. Mark and Troy observed the sessions and couldn’t stop talking about how amazed they were with elemental magic, both guys observed Erica and Lucy take on two silver level elves. Both vampires stood their ground but were outmaneuvered and defeated after almost an hour of sparring. “It was really amazing!” Troy exclaimed. “We still got beaten though” Erica huffed. “We’ll get them next time”

    After Elvenhasil Square, Etalos brought us to one of the shopping districts of the capital. The streets were lined with clothing stores, with glass windows inviting all that passed by outside to at least take a peek inside, and all-in-all it felt rather too upscale for me. The elves walking around the district seemed extra posh as well.     The walk from the gargantuan doors of the Hall of Haldruin back to the limousine went by like a blur, all I remember is that the black carpet was flanked by more elves in black uniforms, all of which were kneeling with heads bowed to the ground.     I think one of Chris’ flaw is that he would like to hide such things from others as much as possible either to try to figure things out on his own first or as to not worry the people around him further (given that more and more ‘firsts’ he’s achieved/breaking records such); I think deep inside, Chris just wants to be normal and has not really come to terms with his powers
