    Mistake

I am shocked at Lyme having such a callous assessment and boldly stating it, and having such ruthless plans to correct the situation. πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€I'm Very impressed to be honest.πŸ–€ He's showing more backbone in this session than I thought he had in his entire body. His knowledge base is staggering, and it is impressive that he knows how impressive he is, even if it's not physically. He is going to be a wonderful resource to tap. Wonder if he knows any of the dead languages as well? Unbelievably, I can't help but agree with Suman's assessment of the current council. But, oh my Lord, the way Eon describes his partner? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€ I was dying of laughter. He's also correct in that frank assessment. He can be an imperious little bastard, due to his lack of humanity and centuries of knowledge in life, however, Wren IS unfailingly loyal. At first, I thought he was talking about Loren who can be an annoying little shit when he wants to as well. 🀣🀣🀣 Hopefully Wren hasn't eaten him yet, because we may need him. I kind of dig him as well. Got to say. He's fun for sure. But I think there's definitely hidden layers there. However, I can picture it. Loren on the throne in Illiath, Suman by his side, Lyrah on the throne in Dleth, with her big brother assisting her. Suman playing go between. But what to do with Serran? As far as I know, none of our characters have roots from there? We take out that king, who do we install in his place? Oh I got it!....Wren and Eon! 🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣 I'm just kidding on that one. That's a horrifying thought. But, then we'd lose Potlyne😭😭😭 It kills me that Eon and Kalian were fighting. I loved the way that they had allied together, and helped each other out, especially after the way they were raised, and the things they went through to get to that point. πŸ’” I hated even more that Talon and Kalian were fighting. Kalian was correct though, his brother and husband definitely put him in the middle of that situation. I thought he did good to separating them. I don't think that Talon is aware yet that Suman knew something about his son being targeted. That's a time bomb waiting to happen there too. When Eon stated that they were allied against them, was he referring to the king or the prince? And who is he referring to when he said they only considered Talon worthy? Again was that the grandfather or the cousin? Think he's scared the fuck out of everybody in the room. Poor Tyren probably has no idea what to feel and what to do. I don't think he ever snubbed his teachers attentions or affections before. Hanja can probably recognize that Kalian is running on the wrong gears and about to do something that he would consider foolish due to his juvenile status that would have a lasting impact on their plans going forward. Lyme surely has never been exposed to Kalian showing his might. I'm a little terrified for Kalian once news gets out that he deposed the king and committed regicide, in plain view, unsanctioned. I have a feeling the fall out may be extreme, or perhaps his country will let it slide because of the threat? I think he's running off of instincts in his panic and rage. I don't like the way he disregarded his instincts when he was outside training, and rationalized them away. He knows better. Could that have been precognition? However, I think with the panic, that's the only thing guiding him, or perhaps that supreme being is still talking to him? And his instincts told him to get rid of the threat against his family. King Sumerion was a decided threat. Not just to his family, but to his country and everybody he cared about. Their very existence and way of life. That was a fact. He wasn't wrong. Suman is going to have a field day with this once he finds out that Kalian killed his grandfather! Damn he's going to be rejoicing in the streets! I can't wait. πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ’€πŸ˜ˆ Got a feeling that's going to be funny as hell. Talon's going to have to battle him, I got to feeling just to keep him. I actually get the mental image of Suman humping Kalian's leg like a dog, once he finds out that he killed his grandfather for him. 🐺🀣🀣🀣 I can actually picture Suman starting up with a fan club for Kalian now. He's childish like that. Perhaps now he'll actually open up and drop all the information that they need to know or what he actually does know at their feet? Providing Kalian doesn't kill him first or allow Talon to once he realizes that he knew that their son was in danger. Was it just me, or did Kalian take a page out of Talon's play book and rip a castle apart? It also seems like he got injured somehow by somebody? Am I correct? And the great power that he felt at his back, was that Talon? I wonder if he left the connection open unknowingly in his panic and rage, and if Talon was able to see everything that had occurred in the throne room with the king of Dleth? He sure know where to find him! I'm glad he set aside his anger at him either way, and came to retrieve him. Dude, bruh, did he stick his entire arm through the king's chest? πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈWicked! So savage. And his lover and friends were concerned that he would be too diplomatic and hesitate to act? 🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣 Way too funny and ironic. Boy, they got his number seriously wrong. He warned them, or tried to and they didn't believe him, that he would wipe the board clean and raze countries to the ground if something happened to his family, especially their son. He knew. He just knew. He knew he could feel something coming and something building in his chest. He's been telling people he feels things and they've been disregarding and discounting it. Even more ironic, was that he was literally thinking about ripping the palace apart in the very first chapter of this book. πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ°Acknowledging the fact, to himself, that he had the power to do so. When his child was targeted, he was shaking and it wasn't from fear. It was more rage than he ever felt before. He knew that he was an explosion imminent to erupt. πŸŒ‹πŸŒ‹πŸŒ‹ Regarding Philippe's comment from earlier, I would love it if they made Kalian into a God. Who needs a king when you can have a God in your presence? β˜€οΈβ˜€οΈβ˜€οΈ Damn that would be fun! Very fun. He's already figured out that he can use his power to harden his hands to give him more strength, I'm shocked that he's not walking around in armor made solely of light. Since he's now severely injured it seems, was that precognition he had going on with the injury to the stomach outside the gates? Perhaps if he dies or goes into a coma again, the supreme being can guide him on how to use his powers and what to do with them? Perhaps, that's the being who imposed the ceiling that Kalian senses on his power? Maybe he needs to reach a certain point, to unlock them-he wasn't yet ready enough to commit to the brutality of a war even though he wanted to be peaceable, or he had to be in a certain mindset? I would love to see him have strength to defend the entire country single handedly. Although I shudder at the thought of what would have to happen to make him go off like that. Seriously, the boy is a weapon of mass destruction, and I love it! πŸ’£πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ–€ I simply love it. I think I just fell a little bit in love with him. ❀️ I adored him before. But Wren and Eon had my heart, Talon right behind them. Damn my slutty heart!πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ On the note of Wren and Loren, hopefully we hear something from them soon. Most definitely hope they were able to make some progress in demolishing the stash. Even if they do, it's going to be hard battles for them ahead without the poison. Three armies would be enough to overwhelm any country almost, especially one with a fragile new government in place. I'm willing to bet that Wren in has more resources, than anybody really knows, Even his partner. He's had centuries of keeping his cards close to his chest. That would be hard to let go of that habit. He's 500 years old. At least. He would not just deplete the Verseckt and leave his country vulnerable. Monarchy to be loyal to or not. Now, he's loyal to more than just one person. He's got to have more hidden members than most people know. As Eon had previously mentioned, he's way better at the sneakier goings on. The way he watches over Eon, I just don't see him letting his cared for ones being left unattended or vulnerable especially in his absence...I just don't believe he would be so negligent. He's all about battle and logic. Wyn is going to freak out and lose his shit when he sees his dad has been injured that bad.😭😭😭 He seen him injured, that's how they've met, but not that bad. He's going to freak out even worse when he feels the tension between his father's. More still, when he realizes this has all been kicked off due to protective feelings of him. Poor kid is going to need all the support he can get. It's almost like a repeat of Kalian when he came into his own, and having to learn under duress, extreme duress and stress. It's hard to imagine him having an even larger target 🎯🎯 on his back than he did before, but I think his father just found a way to do so. For all of them in fact. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the chapter, you and it were missed!!! Guess the wine and chanting and sympathetic scotch helped? πŸ˜πŸ’‹

Sumon will be rejoicing! I can only imagine now that he's going to try to befriend Kalian harder than ever. Did he put his arm through the king's chest? That would be fucking awesome. I mean the king did stab Talon and kill the rest of their family. It's not like it wasn't justified for that fool. The power he felt at his back, was that Talon trying to break through? But more than anything, either messed with Wyn or tried to have him killed. Perhaps now he'll be more forthcoming? And they better hurry up to go install little sister on the throne.

God damn. It's going to take me a few minutes to process this one fully. But holy shit, Kalian went on an unholy rampage. However it was justified. So proud of my little boy! Unbelievable! There was no self-doubt in him either. Cannot wait to see what the results that Carnage was. Fun times. And so so so glad to have you back writing. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Pffft...Nothing soft Dom about either of them in that partnership!🀣🀣 Yeah, nope. I would say everything about them is extremely hardcore. I say they both have extreme masochistic and sadistic tendencies, which does fall under the "BDSM umbrella" so to speak. But I think they enjoy fighting for the control so there's not one established Dom in their relationship.πŸ˜ˆπŸ˜ˆπŸ˜ˆπŸ–€ Kind of hard for anything to be " soft " when, if you tell somebody to "eat you", one of them might actually just do that, and the other one might be willing to serve you up. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ However, I would say there's definitely soft Dom tendencies with Talon. He seems to enjoy breath play frequently and is very very dominant. But there's always room to improve and become more dominant. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ It could be fun. It could be a good outlet for Kalian later on when he feels like he's spinning. To help him regain control. I found that helpful in the past with partners who have issues with their mind going out of the control with their ADHD. It stops the spinning. Sometimes even a spanking session ironically. Gets them out of their head. Although Talon has it easier cuz he can literally get in there with him. It would be interesting to see what Loren is like though...? He's so dominant on the battlefield, and so very confident, but yet he bent over backwards for Amaris and bowed down to her.

Drink some (lots of) wine, we can chant some spells for you, and hopefully it'll make it go away?! I really miss your story. It's the perfect escape right now. Hey, if Wren had not heard from soul eater in almost three centuries, how did Anders? And how did he get the knowledge of how to steal a soul/power? And the magic from the soul eater? See, I love your story so much I get stuck in it with the details. I want to know it all! I'm like Wren, I want all the secrets! You're too good of a writer. My whining about no recent chapters is just a credit and take it as a compliment to your skill. Nothing more. Thanks again. Again, I'm welcome to chant spells and while I don't drink wine I do do scotch or whiskey. I will have a sympathetic glass with you.

It would be oddly karmic if Talon ended up adopting the baby girl who has the same power of the guy who adopted him when he was orphaned. Plus she has strawberry blonde hair. Very interesting. I love the idea of Kalian actually experimenting with his powers to see what's possible in addition to catching up on dead languages and learning more. I'm glad to see he's actually strengthening himself. Knowledge is power, especially if it actually is power like spellpower. Not for nothing, I am still going to love it when he goes off like a weapon of mass destruction. And I'm going to enjoy it, whether he does or not.. I'm interested about the other verseckt member that they want and trust enough to put in charge of protecting wyn... I'm sure he'll adopt it as another uncle in zero time, but who to trust? Is it me or does Talon seem to have gotten weaker? It seemed that their powers were growing stronger the longer they were together and they were able to do more, but for some reason I feel like he's taking a step back about that.

    More Obstacles

It's actually kind of terrifying to think of what Tyren and Kalian would face with the illathian delegation. One of the stories mentioned that where Loren came from, they start training fighting skills as children. Or very young. I forget which. I wonder if the rest of the princes would be as skilled, or because of the life Loren has lived- he's an expert or more so than any of the other ones? It would be terrifying to think of an entire army of Loren's and including magic, and for Kalian to face it down solo! Also had a thought about who's giving now inside information in later chapters? Could it be Eon and Kalian's parents or perhaps the Duke that they stripped of all power and authority? I had the impression that their mother might fight the father, in atonement. Their father was a warlord. He doesn't probably feel much remorse for anything. However, I can see him defending the coast, as it would impact his money and businesses. I would love to have a view of Loren and Wren traveling together. Omg! If Wren doesn't get pissed enough with Loren's mouth to try to eat him (not in the fun way), I can see them working well together. But it would still be funny as fuck!

I've had a few thoughts about this chapter, and some more questions I suppose. As I mentioned, I love this story, these characters and their world. I savor good stories like one would have fine wine or good scotch. I like to mull it over roll around in my thoughts to see what I missed and think longer on it. I have opinions and questions. Shocker, right? πŸ˜‚ For starters, why would Hanja write a book detailing explicit details of what happened to Kalian? Why would he give anybody any more knowledge of what could potentially be used against them or someone else? Like that it's even possible to steal a soul, which no one else believed possible when he tried to tell them during the trial. Also, where had Anders gained the knowledge of how to steal a soul? Or about the fact that Talon and Kalian have an intimate psychic link to each other. Somewhere I thought I read that no one else knew about that, that was one of their advantages? Was a book not yet published? On that note, wasn't it Talon who discovered the link first? Wren has more knowledge than probably anybody currently living about the beings that once had the powers that Kalian and Talon have currently. But didn't those same beans once gift the book with the combined languages about the magic to save talent to talents former kingdom of Dleth? I remember when they were performing the ceremony on Talon, it did not seem to work no matter what they did until Kalian imbued the spell with his own magic. I wonder if that book is a resource that they haven't realized yet, only useful to Talon and Kalian and other beings like them? I also wondered about the mixed languages combining to form a third one. Apparently no one else has mixed magic powers before, but there has been several instances of Kalian doing it with others. He does it with Talon frequently, and he did it with Hanja to heal Wren... I wonder if them having the ability to mix powers is going to be one of the keys to their survival? If Kalian established a link And he assumed it was his bloodline, wouldn't that mean that Lyra and Eon and Anika would also have the same abilities? I was also curious about their army and military. How is it that they don't seem to have some version of special forces, other than wren's verseckt? I'm shocked they're so few in the verseckt. Despite how dangerous it is, there's always, anywhere and everywhere, somebody that wants that kind of life and challenge, despite wren's training methods... Additionally, weren't there any other diplomats prior to the restructuring of the government? There had to be some sort of ambassadors or emissaries before. Who were they, and couldn't they be tapped to stand into these meetings in lieu of our main characters? Concerning Dleth, telling me the comment that he came into his magik late-that being the age of five. How did he know that? I noticed that the little girl that Suman and Kalian rescued seem to come into hers very young as well. The scene with Talon running from the toddler little girl was precious and hysterical. I can completely imagine it. Which side of the family did that magik that suman and Talon have come from? Does Sumerion have some magik that nobody is aware of, cuz I feel like that hasn't been addressed yet. You know the only region you've not mentioned about their geography in this world, is who is to their north?

Why hasn't anyone went to investigate the guy nailed on the study wall yet? I would have checked that body over fast to see if there was any information on him that I could get, such as his manner of dress to figure out what country sent him, anything to identify i.e. weapons, jewelry, tattoos... Just in case someone decided to teleport back to snag that body to take it back with them. Is there no way that they can set wards around their house to prevent people from entering? Like in a magical alarm system? Or deterrent? Doesn't Eon and Wren have a 2nd in command or aide-de-camp (for the General's) or something like that for when they are indisposed? Someone else who is a backup line to communication to their other operatives? I understand that they are all powerful, but that doesn't equate to infallible. They have no security as visible and high profile as they are? Wren hasn't thought about assigning hidden security? Wouldn't the spymaster have captains or lieutenants of his own? Current and past operatives that he could rely on? For example, who pulled Amaris out, if she didn't and wasn't able to report to Wren that her cover was blown and he was on a mission of his own? However, I'm ever so glad that she actually made a home early, and that Kalian made it home early enough to heal her so she didn't bleed out. I would say that they need to immediately and post haste, start investigating the limits of Wyn's powers- teach him how to make maybe some sort of poisonous plants with his plant magik, and see if he can use stone or metals, but definitely start some sort of offensive and defensive Martial training. Perhaps people who are giving away their normal movements are some of the people who are picking on Wyn or bullying him? If we know that they have a decided animosity, perhaps that would be a good first place to start? People who already watched the families movements closely? Perhaps the people they delegate to the most, the ones who would have knowledge of their schedules and movements? For the record, the classroom scene, especially with Hanja and little Paras (mini-wannabe-Talon-gods-help-us)... I was dying. I love the naivety that he doesn't understand Hanja's "picking on Tyren" πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€... I have a feeling that he might have the same problem in showing his affections the same way one day to his significant other😈. I can imagine it. Hanja really has a way with the kids, huh? And Tyren, when he addressed Wyn copying Hanja's words about Paras verbatim? I swear to all-I was laughing so hard. I could just perfectly imagine that. I love that both of the adults were trying to keep a straight face, and they were both cowed by Hanja. As powerful as Kalian is, I think it's hysterical that he still backs down to him, and he actually said he was rethinking all of his life's choices. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ’€ It's nice to see that Kalian is reaching out, to former classmates and trying to make new connections. That was a very deep scene between him and Lyme. I find it interesting that everybody knows what he did with Ajul. We knew he would carry that weight forever. That would stay with most people forever if they were put into a position like that. That's not something one could easily get over or past, if ever. Somehow, I don't think his actual memory of Nick's is complete. Wasn't he the one who used to make poisons, since he said that they were worth the most money? I think he's always been materialistic. However, are they sure that he is still on their side? I also had a question about who's going to sample these antidotes? To do so they would have to have a sample of the anti-magic serum that was used on Kaylee and before. Or something similar. And that brings up the reverse side of the coin. Who have these countries been torturing, capturing and experimenting on to even come up with these anti-magik serums?! However, I think my favorite exchange with one of his former classmates was part of the conversation with Lyme. I also got a very good laugh out of thought of Kalian and imagining his brother Eon with someone else other than Wren. He knew that his brother would "break" anybody else-yeah, it can't be comfortable knowing those kinds of things about your brother's bedroom antics. And if he didn't- his brother's partner the "Monster of Aine" would. My greatest ship *sighs dramatically*. I've said it before and I will say it again.I think Kalian could be a weapon of mass destruction. Or creation. Just never fuck with his family. Now that there's been an attack on his home and child, I wonder if he intends to actually push the limits of his power to find out what he's fully capable of...YET. I don't think he has a first clue what he's actually capable of...YET . His power was gifted to him from a supreme being. Can he delve into others minds? Can he root out the corruption the way he was able to travel down through his mind and Anders? Maybe he can form those connections with his designated family. We have seen him heal an entire room and even resurrect people. I also had a thought about the water magic that his sister uses. Anika owes him- desperately-so we should most definitely make use of this bitch-yep I still hate her no matter what. The human body is made up of mostly water. Maybe she should rethink and see if she has any sort of exploding magik like their brother, and see if she can freeze the water in the human body to kill somebody or make it explode or boil? They need to adjust their offenses, quickly apparently. Especially, if there is an impending assault that could be coming from an naval fleet of unknown proportions. I wonder if they do have somebody who amplifies powers, not just restores. Maybe some of the people who are actually considered "matchlos", but they're wells of power to be drawn upon- almost like a passive power, something they can't control actively, but others can pull from without actually harming them and they can supplement others with it? Yeah, if you can't tell, I'm really into this series and your stories. Like I said, you've built a whole world and I'm totally enthralled. This series has been going on for a while over many countries and the whole continent and whatnot. You've built the world and left a lot of lines open and a lot of ways that this could continue and grow as all of your characters are so unique and ever evolving. For instance, I've noticed that Kalian is able to jump more and Talon is able to do it more, even without the corruption that was supplementing his power, since they seem to use it more since they are together and joined. Was that on purpose? Definite complex individual personalities (and I think we all have our favorites). It's a credit to you that I'm this hung up and don't really want to wait till next Wednesday for the next chapter. Sorry. That's your fault. I blame you. I keep getting stuck rereading them.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜˜ Seriously though, thanks again. Although I'm still wondering where the baby girl went? Some orphanage? Doesn't seem right with our group of friends who like to adopt strays... One other thing. Wyn once complained he had to learn about all of the Gods and Goddesses. That there used to only be one. With the advent of all these new religions or deities, I assume that came about when the humans first harness the magik? Do none of them have prophets or seers to guide the people? I'm surprised we haven't seen more priests or priestesses, or acolytes/paladins trying to inject themselves into the political landscape. Or at least as a guidepost for the people. Or a guide for the leaders and the crusaders. Just a random obscure thought, since you were nice enough to inject that little gem into the story. You just fully fleshed out this world, so naturally I'm going to have questions, and I'm going to ponder the story in each detail. Sorry once again, but this is your fault. My obsession with your characters in this story of this world is entirely your fault. Lmao.

    Consequences

About going along with fr About Wren's plan and being nervous about it? I don't get that. The man/monster has over 500 years of experience. With all the countries involved not just the one that he's loyal to. That is a lot of knowledge and experience to not pull from. Leaving his tendency to violence aside, he does have the right idea. I mean, if you can find a way to avoid actually having to confront three armies head on? It would be foolish to just dismiss whatever he says without due consideration. He literally has more experience than everybody in the room COMBINED. That is something that they need to factor into their calculations. That would be a significant resource not to pay attention to. I mean if you think about it over 500 years, there's a very good chance that he knows ins and outs of some of these other countries more than the current rulers do- things that might have been lost to their history, but are preserved in wren's memories.
  15. marsnvic

    Bet

Is this maybe suman's way of inciting Dimian to go to war against the dleth? Making them think that they're going to get hit by three countries at once, to force them into declaring war themselves? They have the versekt, why don't they use them for plausible deniability?
  16. marsnvic

    More Obstacles

Hanja isn't the only one trusting the other with their most important person. Kalian is trusting him, and his brother as well, with his child. That supersedes even his lover, to whom he is bonded. Were it me, I would employ Wren's verseckt and use them to kill the ruling parties of the other countries. They are assassins, after all, as well as spies. Additionally, I would stockpile the anti serum for the anti-magik. Or find a way to make it into an inoculation against its effects. Furthermore, I would conscript former students and employ some sort of draft or voluntary draft into service in anticipation of what is to come. Why are they not? And for the record, if Wren is the only one who knew that the prince snuck into the palace, why does he not have his own spies sneaking around the other bordering countries? Makes no sense not to have lines of intelligence. Every country around the world has spies. Has he been too busy playing human and house? Doubtful. Can not imagine him making such an oversight. 500 years of experience of it. So, what gives? Wyn should also have a very strict security detail as well. More than just the teacher and the general. They also have other duties. The child is just too well regarded and WAY too well connected-infamously so, to not be overly protected during these times. They should really give him the knowledge of the current situation, so he knows to be on guard and what to be on the lookout for. Knowledge is power. And they should definitely speed up his combat training so he can defend himself. Should all else fail that is. During the other two books, they had people who could transport others. Why are they not speeding these trips up by using them? Has nobody developed some sort of long-range communication? Our two main characters cannot be the only two who can communicate long distance, correct? Even if all three enemies are converging at once, there would have to be a signal, not just a preordined time, correct? Because always, something could alter that schedule. I still don't trust Suman's intent. I think most of this was planned and he's playing them. I feel like only in the past week or so, he is deviating from the initial plan. He is probably removing the biggest threats from the capital. This plan has separated most of the power couples. The ones that instinctively play off the other. Suspicious. He still probably wants to kill his grandfather, but I get the notion, that he was supposed to drop that info. He might be getting second thoughts now, though. Just my impression. I just think that he has been playing a very long game. Hopefully, I am not correct. I still think since Kalian finally got his powers so late in his life, and since they came from a former deity or supreme being, whichever, they still have more to develop. There's probably a lot of things that he is capable of that he has never even considered trying. Mind reading, astral project for spying, some way to "power up"? perhaps some sort of meditation could help? Wyn usually focused on plant majik, but he should know how to use it offensively. He does have the ability for more. He affected stone before, but doesn't try that anymore. They are still unsure of his geneology. How much you want to bet he is from Serran? Also, what has happened to the baby girl that Kalian rescued? Surprised they didn't adopt. Or that Hanja and Tyren didn't keep her. They have enough money to hire a nanny for assistance if needed. Just saying....
  17. marsnvic

And wren does have the right idea. You don't have enough manpower to fight three armies. You got to go guerilla warfare style. You need sentinels and you need spies. And definitely assassins. Even better if you find somebody to take out the anti-magic stash... Got to tell you, I'm with him.

You know, for the record? I don't think Talon actually believed him when he said he would wipe clear the entire map. To be fair and honest, it would actually be fun to see. As kind as Kalian is, I believe he would actually do it to save his family. I think somehow dleth is going to have a problem, if they screw with them. I think the kingdom is going to have a shocker on their hands once they figure out what kalian is capable of. He is a weapon of mass destruction. That's why the council thought he could be an army into himself, and they probably, none of them, know the half of it... Dleth thinking he's the weak one? He's the strongest and his power should still be growing since he's still an infant to it technically.... Cannot wait. It was also impressive to kind of see the siblings esteem of each other. Kallian and Eon have come so damn far. Like, their relationship is completely morphed into a 180. But all of the siblings all do seem to really hold each other in high regard, unlike the situation with his sister previously. I still personally would have let that bitch rot. He's a better man than me. Just saying... I mean, let's be real here... Kallian is shipping his brother bringing in illegal meat for his monster lover. Hysterical. But they really do seem to admire each other. Same with talon and his sister. They rarely show that side.

They seem to be in the role more of a knight or a general, than a Duke often. Or even a emissary. Ambassador. Somehow it would be fun to see them wind up on a throne. Perhaps in dimian. After they save everybody once again... But they're definitely more warriors for their country and continent, than just figureheads and statesmen. It's going to be fun to watch them raze countries to the ground. I just know somebody's going to be threatened that they care about. It would be cool if they could somehow establish a mental link or contact with somebody else if they needed to. It would be fun to see kalians powers progress. He came into them so late, it leaves room for them to expand, from their already immense size and scope... Especially if challenged in the moment, especially with threat to his family... Still I love the ship with eon and wren... And it kills me how his brother thinks it is the cutest s*** all their little violent tendencies. Just beautiful, I'm wiping a tear from my eye. And they're by play, where they assert each other's protectiveness of each other. Impressive. And I love how Rin has really come around to be so fucking protective, violently so, of their little family. This was also a good progression to see the development between the characters, and acknowledgement of each other. These last two chapters that is... Seriously, I love your writing. Thank you! I kept hoping for more and kept checking, so excited to see where the story goes. You have written such real and individual characters. Complicated and sometimes convoluted, but that makes them real and interesting. I eagerly await the journey that you're going to take us on. Thank you again. And some of the scenes are just so damn funny, it's beautiful. And poor boy? Poor boy nothing. He may not be raised in the average fashion but he will be raised in a way that he can take care of himself. That's the most important thing. And he is cared for. Still funny as hell. If he thinks that's bad, my children refer to me as the Antichrist. And yes I've trained them with weapons- guns knives hunting camping and all the survival skills you can possibly need, and my husband taught thing to know legally to get out of trouble. It's not a bad thing. Knowledge is power. He'd never have known to be aware of hidden talents and weapons. He needs to be aware of that, especially with a family like his.

    More Obstacles

Instincts are there for a reason. If you don't trust them and heed them, often you end up hurt or dead. It's foolish to ignore it. Additionally, I'm surprised their first plan of attack wasn't the versect going after the caches and supplies for the anti-magic serum to be destroyed... I love characters how they're all developing though. And I love how he ships his brother and Wren. That cracks me up. Got to admit though, there's still my favorites. But I love these two almost just as much... more, more, more please?! I love it, and I'm so into these characters. I cannot wait for the next update!

    Wren and Eon

I love these two and their evolution together. They're so my favorite. They're warped way of actually finding someone to actually relate to. Even if it's not the conventional sense, it makes it all that much better. And I love the fact that together combined, their leading nation's military and defenses. Kind of scary, that fact. Although I'd love to see their fight, over wren not disclosing that the crown prince of Dleth was there. I'd love to see their conflict resolution. That would probably be something worth witnessing. There's still my favorites though. And I love how beautifully violent they are and they accept that about each other. That's their way of showing affection. Just lovely. I would still love to see more of wren's point of view, and how he struggles to understand the people around him. He's changed a lot, has made friends and is now in a relationship. Yet he is still the head assassin, and still probably has to train more people. It would be interesting to see how they balanced the nation's defenses, their respective roles in their country, and not have that interfere in their relationship. And now Wren is a "Uncle"? I would love to see Wren turn loose on Dleth, The crown Prince suman, in the King Sumerian. I bet he would take exception to the way that they try and treat Kalian? I'd love to see him go to their court and create all sorts of havoc, much in the same way their prince came to Dimian and tried to do the same there. And he's the only one who knew what the crown Prince was actually up to.
  23. I can't wait for the day that Kalian finally puts the dumbass king and the rest of the court in their place. Can't wait till he can show them that he can bring the court, palace and the whole kingdom down around him if he felt like it. He wouldn't actually need his partner to help him with that. Although I have the impression that talon would gleefully help him tear down the kingdom and burn it down around all these terrible people. He's a good partner like that. He will help you destroy a kingdom if you really wanted to. That's love. I found it amusing that right on the heels of challenging Prince suman on why they should allow him to remain alive, everybody has to throw their two cents in on the fact that Kalian is the strongest among them all. Not talon. It was beautiful watching him put Prince Suman's face in the dust. That was beautiful. Loren is just comic relief. The boy has had stranger taste. He had a thing for mallex too. Got to say, I prefer the crown Prince over that. They would be a fun matchup. The king would be hard pressed to say anything because he's also royalty. A cadet line of minor royalty, but still royalty. That would be a beautifully screwed up a relationship, much like Eon and WrenπŸ–€. Although I got to say I love them. They are wonderfully messed up. And probably my favorites... I would still love to see more of them. Especially them and their uncle role... Wren is still one of my favorite characters. I love to see them weigh in with this punk of a crown prince. It would be fun to take them all to court with the king and see what he does, because there's no containing wren. And wyn is fun all on its own... Mess with his dads' and there's just going to be hell to pay. At some point, you would think, these idiotic men have to consider the fact that there's a reason why so many people are so loyal to Kalian. You would think it would beg the question of why? And it can't be just simply power, which he has in ample supply of. I would love to see him lose his cool in court, and create an international incident-I would love seeing him lose his cool and showing everybody in Dleth what he's actually capable of. Being the peacemaker is fine and all, but everyone has their limits, peace is good, but so is the knowledge of when to actually call war. I think the ridiculous court of Dleth will be shocked and amazed to find that Dimian will back Kalian no matter what. Sometimes some people just need their asses kicked. King Sumerion is definitely one of those people. The crown prince is not far behind him. I love to see Prince suman and talon have to team up to try and fix it. And I get the impression that the crown prince actually cares about his cousin talon. I got the feeling not many people have treated him well, and that he actually enjoyed the bonding time with the family. Even though he acted like a idiot and tested them at every turn, I still got the impression he actually likes them. I think that's just his way, being raised in such a duplicitous court by such an evil man. I think he has to test people to find out what they're actually about first. He doesn't trust him at face value. But truly I had the idea that he liked his cousin....For some reason that just seems like all kinds of entertainment there. Add in Loren, and their son wyn. Maybe Wren as muscle? Fun fun fun. I know this chapter just came out, but I'm chomping at the bit for more. I'm so into these characters in the story... Please more? Soon? I know you have a life and all, but it's a credit to the writer that I'm so hopelessly addicted to these characters, and their complicated personalities and the intrigue that they weave around them. I keep rereading it, hoping for more. Thank you for the story and thank you for the time it takes to put out there. πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€
  24. Will the story be finished? It looks like it hasn't been worked on a couple years by the dates... Or are you writing elsewhere?

    Chapter 3

sorry to hear about the death of one of the authors. It really is too good of a story to have it abandoned. Perhaps somewhere down the line they'd allow someone else to take it up and try and do it justice? Edge Talent... Also seems a bitter pill to take if someone has the amount of talent it takes to write these stories, it isn't using it. Many of us only would dream of talent like that.
