Another one??? 🙄 OMG, one at Stephen Sr's office and now one a Gramps office where they're going to work. Even the need for Stephen to have to say what he did about respecting each other says a lot. Ones personal beliefs are just that, personal and should be kept that way. I can't imagine anyone in my corporation having the audacity to say what the two receptionists we've encountered have said to Stephen and Timothy. Shame on them both!!!

When some open their mouths, stupid just falls out! Gawd knows, you can't fix stupid regardless how hard you try.

Sounds like an employee thinks too much of herself in her position to tell the bosses son he's a sinner instead of a happy congratulations. Luv that Timothy now has double duty with Gramps and Dad. Hopefully the security mention is not a foreshadowing of something nefarious to come. Great chapter, so enjoyed Mom being honest but accepting. True, she had two choices and chose the right one.

Sometimes we've gone through life and trained always to think the worst. Apparently Stephen's mother hasn't been the best person on the planet and he expected he was being tossed on his bum and all his computer equipment gone. I noticed Timothy picked up the letter, hopefully we'll get to hear what was written inside and why Stephen reacted the way he did. If it just said "Stephen, Meet me at 3801 North Hemlock Avenue. Gramps." I can't really understand why the initial reaction - other than again, Stephen having grown up in a very cold, non-loving, home and expected he got tossed.

Great, the kiddos get married and the parents put them on the Titanic as a good luck present for the future! LOL!!! Wonderful story and I can remember the smile Randy had on his face the same as the one I had on mine getting my first set of wheels and freedom! ...of course, a 1907 Model A back then was lightening fast! 😂

A beautiful story of two men deeply in love who are beginning their lives together officially. One of the most heartwarming moments in life is when you say 'I Do' and then the world will never be the same again. Young Donnie will come blasting onto the scene and the joy only keeps getting better and better. Congratulations Timothy and Stephen, now go make bunnies!

One adjective can convey such meaning and emotion. It sounds like Stephens family has been a bit stoic far too long and Stephen is out to change that - to bring the love and warmth of Timothy's family into his. Rip the curtains back and let the warmth and brightness of the sunshine engulf everyone. Maybe his mother will thaw out a little! lol

I love the juxtaposition of mom not approving but the men fully embracing and supporting Timothy and Stephen's decision to marry. I'm glad grandfather that will ensure success for the future of these two young men and the love they have for each other.
-
Well hell, Timothy hasn't even graduated and Stephen and grandfather have him set up with a job already - you can just tell by the "something unspoken" LOL!!!
-
Sometimes you just know and nothing else matters. To Stephen's point, if his parents don't approve it'll definitely be their loss. Sad that's even a thought when it comes to those we love.

Curious what the deal with the older sister is. It seems there's been comments twice pointing out she wasn't around or not attending an event.
-
Sounds like Randy is in good hands and mom seems to be improving though I wonder what her illness is. Randy will continue to excel with Stephen's and Timothy's tutorage. Tuting right along! 😂
-
Such caring and compassion. Dying of a chronic disease is never easy and especially so when you're alone and have a young child. Stephen has a heart that cares and I foresee Randy being adopted one day by Stephen and, if it's meant to be, Timothy as well.

Like most of us when we were college age, there was only three things on the mind and that was sex sex and more sex. While still not a fan of Johnny, it seems he, Timothy, and Stephen made a nice trouple for a while. Now that Johnnys out of the picture a bit. Maybe Stephen and Timothy will create something together between the two of them. And talk about a slum lord. That’s despicable, especially when the mother is ailing. Randy’s going to grow up to be a very caring kid based on what I’ve read so far of his actions. Great story!

OMG, I'm still laughing!!! That made my day!!! LOL!!! LOL!!!

I remember growing up there was the cartoon where the character's head just spun around insistently. Now I know what the character was feeling! LOL!!!
-
So, to sum it up, Johnny raped Timothy. That's typically why someone feels the need to take a shower immediately after having sex. Then he let himself in Timothy's room for another go x3. Timothy was very vulnerable and Johnny took advantage of that. One thing I despise in the world is people who are only interested in their personal gratification and not the pleasure of the other person. To me, that's called a USER! 🤬

Camping tales told around the campfire. Spoooooka! 🎃

Bu Bye Booker T.! Daddy ain't paying for your lazy ass to do nothing! And damn, John is a handsy little fellow. Hopefully he's not the quarterback giving everyone a feel up! Sounds like Tim is still very much in love with Donnie and those feelings will preclude his heart allowing anyone else in to love him for a while. Not sure John was looking for love so much as lust though. 😂

The things that happen in childhood ... it's a wonder we even made it through it but then again, it's what made us adults! LOL!!! Mom always watching everything - Timothy is getting a new mattress and a full refrigerator before she leaves, mark my word! LOL!!! LOL!!
-
Mrs Kenner is awesome! I'd luv'd to have had a surrogate grandmother like her during school - someone to guide you a little but also stay out of your business. I like her directness but you can also tell she's as sweet as they come and cares about people. Just wondering how she knew Timothy's former roommate?
-
That's what I call a gawd awful roommate - aka roommate from hell! LOL!!!
-
Direct and to the point. I like it already!

ZIP BOOM BOW! Great Scott Batman, is it another Saturday episode in front of the tv? Loved that tv show growing up as a kid and sometimes the words just come back from somewhere. Haha I can hear the theme music playing as I type this. Great, now I got that song stuck in my head all day! LOL!!! LOL!!! Was Alexander poisoned or not? My personal view, Alexander died of a broken heart over the death of Hephaestion. History records that at his death in October of 324BC, Alexander flung himself on the body of Hephaestion and sobbed uncontrollably all day. Alexander died a few months later in June of 323BC. While Alexander had 3 wives and many concubines, I believe he had only one true love and that was Hephaestion - his friend from boyhood to death.
-
So enjoyed this story. Then ending was just as Alexander's tomb in real life - shrouded in mystery (sand). Sometimes, things are just meant to be left to rest in peace and maybe that's what the sand was saying - it's time to let Alexander rest in peace.
