I don't think it matters if he was snarling at Max and Perry or snarling at the thought of being with a woman, the outcome is the same. I might try and find all the little comments like this that really paint a picture Kyan doesn't know he's painting. Like referring to Max as a barnacle. The moment things went south for poor Max.

Because he wants Perry, duh.

Wait what? Does he want to be eaten alive at a gay club? Because I'm sure Perry would be much obliged.

Perry's family seems very supportive but that doesn't mean you feel comfortable sharing all these parts of you especially when you go against the grain. Jed seems amazing but I remember him being described as kind of redneck. It makes me wonder if there is some struggle there. Maybe the reason Perry is scared to open up to Kyan stems from a fear of rejection from his father. I could be reading way to deep into that, but the thought is there. I think the club will be a very enlightening experience for Kyan.

You've developed a great character with him and I think seeing that through to the end would be awesome. You will kill it no doubt.

I know jealously is an ugly trait but damn if it doesn't get the wheels turning! I sprinkle here and there can be hot hot hot.

I know Kyan is late to the game but he had been putting a lot of effort towards their friendship and being rejected like that was savage. Perry had every right to feel the way he did, and maybe it will open Kyan's eyes a little. I'm sure there was a reason, but damn! I felt for him. I was also hoping Perry would be waiting at his house but I also think it was a good thing that he wasn't. Much of their relationship is Perry being there for Kyan, but it's time that Kyan is there for Perry. The tables need to turn a bit. I want to see Perry at the club. I want to see Kyan's reaction to Perry at the club. What am I not looking forward to? Max's heart being broken. The writing is on the wall. Don't make us fall for a character if he's going to turned into ceviche.

I love these little real life glimpses you give us. Just so you know, we don't need to fall in love with Perry anymore than we already are.

Strangely enough I don’t see Kyan as the alpha with Dayna AT ALL but I can kind of see Perry giving Kyan the space and confidence to coax out a little alpha like behavior, but Perry would still be in charge lol Now, hypothetically… if there was some type of rift between Perry and Dayna in regards to our lovely little Kyan, then there is no way Perry would touch him with a ten foot pole…or an 8in dick (🤞🏼🤞🏼🤷🏼‍♂️). The guilt would be overwhelming, so that is a real obstacle. with that said, I do see an instance where Kyan presses the boundaries between the two. Maybe they are in bed and Kyan presses against Perry, and then again the next time and another time. Each time going a little further. His horney sex deprived brain would love it and maybe it would be the push he needs to realize how much he likes Perry? Whatever. The point I’m trying to make is that one night Perry will lose his self control and pin Kyan to the bed. “Don’t start something you can’t finish.” 💦💦💦 @Mrsgnomie if you need me to finish this story I have some ideas.

I’ve been thinking about this all day. I really hope this gets brought up again in more detail. I would be VERY curious to know what Dayna and Perry’s relationship was really like. I have no doubt there is immense love but that doesn’t mean everything is happy. I think the attraction could have been immediate but maybe Kyan didn’t realize she held the same attraction he felt? And was too nervous to make assumptions? The real question here is who is alpha between Kyan and Perry? Who will make the first move?

I see where you’re coming from but I feel like it’s a bit of a stretch to pin Kyan as a bad guy for not picking up on vibes. When it when Dayna tossing vibes around they were only 17. Boys are idiots. With Perry, Kyan is straight so attraction between them isn’t on his radar. He’s definitely dumb when it comes to picking up vibes but at least he admits it

All I pictured was Kyan digging a hole on the beach and the ocean kept filling it back up with sand. The more he tries to fix max up with Perry, the more he's falling for him... and he doesn't even know it. I half wonder if Max is doing it on purpose? There was a LOT to love about this chapter. Gracie in a pageant dress made me laugh. Such a contrast to the homeless savage beast we saw in the last chapter, but isn't that how kids are? Is it a clue for Kyan? Showing him he can be anything he wants. I'm definitely not convinced that Max and Perry are going to make it and I'm also not convinced that Kyan will end up jealous. It seems to me, there just isn't a love connection. Even Max doesn't sound completely sold, even though he desperately wants there to be. I hope that is the case because I really like Max and I would hate to see him destroyed by this.

Anyone else catch this. "Scandals when I needed to get laid." Does he not need to get laid anymore??

A punch to the gut. Kyan stuck his finger right in a gaping wound. Gay men everyone felt Perry's pain here. Painful. Lusting or loving straight men is so heartbreaking.

Can't help but think Kyan's match making skills are not working for Max as much as Kyan

I imagine Kyan going into this chapter with his chest puffed out proudly. He's determined to be a good little investigator slash match maker, but I can tell the plan is failing in two parts. 1- Finding out Perry had boyfriends evoked a rather emotional response and yes, I understand that it has to do with Kyan being left out, but come on! We also know it's partially finding out Perry was with other guys. 2 - The more Kyan learns, the more Kyan will want.

Did Dayna know. I'm very curious about this myself. In chapter one there didn't appear to be any conflict. Perry was very doting to his sister when she came home with Gracie. Makes you wonder if she knew Perry held a candle for Kyan, so she put some distance in there? If so, is there something about Kyan we don't know that Dayna did. Something that would cause Dayna to be worried? Lets be real, Kyan was awful quick to answer this question...

I couldn't help but wonder if he's really wearing a scarlet W or if it's internalized. For some reason I feel like he maybe put a wall up and so it seems like no one cares. Max didn't see the wall and plowed right through. I could be very wrong. I usually am!

I think we can all agree that Bohemian Rhapsody was a great choice and the kids were likely adorable singing it, but which part, because it's a 15 min song and I believe they live in a small town so it takes less than five to get to school lol.

TUIK is hands down the best story. I love everything about it and it’s one of the few stories I have reread many times, and will continue to reread happily

What was so beautiful in the last chapter was a horror story in this chapter lol
