    Epilogue

Hello Graham, Still feel sorry for Peter. It didn't seem necessary for Peter and Sammy to be apart during the divorce proceedings, despite Brenda. We have 'no fault' divorce since Lionel Murphy, and with each having a solicitor, it usually goes smoothly. Anyway, the first 15 chapters were excellent and resonated with me. Cheers John

    Chapter 14

Hello Graham, This is the first story of yours which I have read, and up to this chapter I have been enjoying it immensely. However, Sammy's sudden cooling to Peter seems bizarre to me. After the divorce Brenda would be out of both their lives - she has been such a bitch that Peter would surely want to steer clear of her. He would have rights to see his girls, but Sammy could well click with them. Personally, I was in a similar situation, except that my ex-wife was accepting, as well as our daughter, who was 21 at the time. A surprise has been how homophobic both Maria and Brenda have shown themselves to be. Cheers John
  3. Thanks for this story which was very enjoyable and accurate in demonstrating the level of denial maintained by young men entering manhood in the 60's and 70's. It also illustrates the incredible relief in finally coming out at a mature age.
