Could not agree more. The whole scene with the card after all those incredible gifts had me bawling. I am, by the way, up for adoption. Talk about a gag-worthy description. One or two of those smells are bad enough, but whatever was included had to be putrid. It's time now to pull out a scented candle to get rid of the scent trigger hit, which means good job. -

Loving the inner dialogue, all that longing, and neither having any idea of the other's thoughts. Will Mannly remember any of what he hears? Poor Jake, caught with his inner thoughts hanging out. In all the drama, the chuckles come as a welcome surprise. -

A myriad of emotions; then, starting at chapter 10 I was suddenly so very anxious to see what would happen. t Of course, I also knew the disappointment that would come with the story ending. Loved the ending and yes, disappointed the ride's over. On a separate note, laughter came easily with each, "Shut up, Zach!" What a great character to add who through so few words said so much. -
