    Damn, what a scene with the guy being pursued and captured. He got lucky that Bass wasn't alone. It'll be a long wait until Sunday to find out how Kidd is doing. Meanwhile, here's hoping no one unties the s.o.b. anytime soon. Favorite line in this chapter was Rhett's response when Jake asked: “What kind of condition is he in?” “Aside from falling face-first in a pile of horse shit?” 💩 🤣

    In The Barb is an amazing story with fantastic characters. While now up to Chapter 17, the assortment of characters has grown, their continued development, painting of scenes, and so much more make this well worth the read. Compliments too on editing. How anyone can leave a hateful comment followed by the word "friend" is beyond comprehension. I, for one, am disappointed to see a fine new author on GayAuthors.org receive such disrespect. Keep writing; @Vcs, your efforts are respected and appreciated.

    Remember the line I wrote about forming behind me for the shirt and hat? Yeah, that one! Just to be clear, there is NO LINE behind me for the viewing of that video! Nope, not going there. I'm with @Vcs with the eeeeewww. Just not wealthy enough for that kind of therapy bill.

    A wise man, Mill. I like the quote from On Liberty (1859), "The only purpose for which power can be rightfully exercised over any member of a civilized community, against his will, is to prevent harm to others." It's amazing how so many think they have that right because they have the "right" skin color, beliefs, sexual orientation, etc.

    Could not agree more. The whole scene with the card after all those incredible gifts had me bawling. I am, by the way, up for adoption. Talk about a gag-worthy description. One or two of those smells are bad enough, but whatever was included had to be putrid. It's time now to pull out a scented candle to get rid of the scent trigger hit, which means good job.
