  1. Happy Birthday, W_L! I hope it's a great one and I wish you many, many more. Enjoy this final year before you hit the big 3-0!
  2. Happy Birthday, Craftingmom! I hope it's a great one and I wish you many, many more.
  3. Thanks, Terry, and it is a wait and see moment, but what happens when he starts to recuperate? That is the important question right now.
  4. Happy 18th Birthday, Roman! I hope it's a great one and I wish you many, many more. How does it feel to finally be legal?
  5. After making the phone call, Mike went outside to wait for the taxi. He nervously shifted his weight back and forth, from one leg to the other, and was becoming more frustrated with every second that passed. 'Why is it taking so long for the stupid cab to show up?' he wondered. When the taxi finally arrived, Mike hurriedly reached for the door handle and jerked the rear door open. He then hopped inside and told the driver where he was going, before ordering the man to drive as fast as h
  6. Thanks for the feedback, Mutch, and I'm glad you enjoyed this story. I agree with you that parents need to teach children to love, not hate, others who are different from them, whether it be race, religion, sexual orientation, or anything else.
  7. It's liberating when you have a place to go where you can feel comfortable being yourself. I wish there were more places that gay young men, lesbians and transvestites could go without fear of ridicule or attack. Even though some people are more accepting now, it seems the bigots and homophobes are becoming more aggressive.
  8. I'd like to add my good wishes to all of the fathers here at GA. I hope you all had a great day. I even got a special surprise when my son told me that he'd gotten engaged on Saturday! Another one bites the dust!
  9. I heard this on the news earlier and was deeply saddened. I loved his portrayal of Chekov in the new Star Trek franchise and was looking forward to seeing more of him. RIP, Anton.

    Graduation Is Near

Thanks, Johnny. I hope you enjoy this story as much as Sword.

    Graduation Is Near

Thanks for the feedback, Tylor. My intention is to post one chapter per week. I like to write far enough ahead so I'm able to do that, because I know readers become frustrated when it takes too long between postings. A week also gives me time to address the feedback too, if I need to make minor changes.

    Graduation Is Near

Thanks for the feedback, Graeme. I hope no one thinks this is too far out there when they find out where this is going.
  14. “Hey, Adam. Are you lost or something?” the bartender greeted the good-looking guy with chocolate-colored hair that had just strolled into his establishment. “You normally only stop in here on the weekend.” Adam was particularly fond of dropping by this particular bar whenever he got the chance, because it was one of the few gay hangouts in town where he felt totally comfortable, safe and as if he truly belonged. Since he'd been living in the area, he stopped in there as often as he could a

    Mental Games

After Adam Washburn recovers from a brutal beating that places him in a coma, and when he comes to he discovers he has an unusual ability. Now he has to decide how he is going to use this unique skill. Will he use it wisely or will it end up getting him into trouble?
  16. Happy Birthday, Puppilull! I hope it's a great one and I wish you many, many more.
  17. My heart goes out to the families of those killed. So many young lives senselessly taken, and over what - hate. Whether that hatred was stoked by homophobia or ISIS, it should be a lesson to stop spreading more hatred in this country. Haters never win, but they can do a lot of damage along the way.
  18. Happy Birthday, Valkyrie! I hope it's a great one and I wish you many, many more
  19. Happy Birthday, Dennis! I hope it's a great one and I wish you many, many more And may you find a cute guy wrapped as a present!
  20. Don't forget about "Jersey Boys," which is about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. You might even include The Who in this with their rock opera "Tommy."
  21. He rubbed some people the wrong way, he was loud, brash, and sometimes arrogant. He had his faults, but don't we all? One thing that you can't deny is his ability in the boxing ring. He was quick, powerful, and fought with his head (eg. rope-a-dope), not just with his fists. The world has lost a truly great athlete and it's a shame that he spent his final days battling Parkinson's Disease.
  22. Happy Birthday, George!
  23. I was born approximately nine months after my mother's birthday, so I know he she celebrated it. lol
  24. Congratulations, Albert!
  25. Remakes of a classic are always extremely risky and seldom do better or are liked as well as the original. It will be interesting to see how this one fares.
