My humblest apologies. I thought I had passed along my birthday wishes, but just realized either I forgot or somehow screwed up. I hope it was a great one!
Dave,
I'm sorry I'm so late in passing along my birthday wishes to you. It's nice to have someone else my age here on GA. I hope you had a great day, and that you have many, many more birthdays ahead.
Thanks, Butcher. I want to thank you for the positive responses and feedback along the way, and I'm glad you enjoyed this tale. I wasn't sure how many GA members would be interested in a sword and sorcery story, but it seems to have received a fairly good response, so I'm gratified. Thanks again for sticking with it until the end.
Thanks for the feedback, flesco, and I'm glad you've enjoyed this series. Like I told the others, I will consider another book in Next Generation, but I have to come up with a lot more ideas first. Any suggestions would be welcome, just post a topic in my Signature Author Forum and I promise to consider each of them. That goes for @Justleah , @Henry , @donaldbirwin , @tor200534 , @butchman , @Wesley8890 , @Stix , @Dewilmnative , and @Dahawk too.

I wonder how devastating this hurricane is going to be to Florida, seeing it has caused major damage in the Caribbean so far. I hope everyone stays safe, but this could be devastating to the Florida economy, like Harvey was to Texas. My best wishes go out to all of the GA members currently living in Florida.
Thanks, Dahawk, I'm glad you've enjoyed this story. I'm considering everyone's request, but like I said, I just have to come up with some more ideas. Thanks for your support and feedback.
Thanks, Jon. I appreciate your continued feedback and support, and I'm glad you enjoyed the fact that I switched from Josh's to Danny's point of view. I'm open to suggestions for continuing this series, because that's what I would need to go forward. Thanks again.
Stix, thanks for the high praise, and I'll think about writing more. I have to come up with a bunch of new ideas if I do that, though. Thanks for your support and feedback.
Thanks, Wesley. I'll be honest with you. I'm really surprised that so many have indicated that they want more. I wasn't even sure if anyone would read this book, but I'll consider it. Thanks for your support and feedback.
I'm amazed that you guys want more. When I wrote this, I wasn't sure if very many people would read it. I thought everyone would be ODing on the Currie family by now. Thanks for your support and feedback.
Man, talk about feeling pressure. lol
I'm glad you guys enjoy this series, and I'll think about it, but I won't make any promises. Thanks for your support and feedback.
I appreciate the thought, Justleah, but I'm not sure I have it in me to write another book in this series. I won't give a definite 'no', because I didn't foresee writing this book either, but I'd have to come up with a lot more ideas before I did anything like that. Thanks for your support and feedback.
Those not living at home started to arrive on Friday night, in preparation for the party the following evening. Ricky was the first to show up, and he pulled into the driveway just before 6:00.
"I took a little time off from work so I'd miss the worst of the traffic on the way here," he announced as we greeted him at the door.
"It's nice to see you, but you don't seem to have anything with you," Dad remarked, since it didn't appear as if Ricky had even brought a change of clothes.
Thanks, Jon, and I apologize for causing the waterworks at the same time as hurricane Harvey. I felt that having the boys tie the adoption in with Josh's birthday would be a nice touch, since he wasn't there when they first arrived, but he did a great deal to help them once he returned. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for the kind words.
Stix, I'm glad you've enjoyed this book/series, but I'm not sure if there will be more. This has been a very long and arduous adventure, and I'm not sure that I can continue coming up with new ideas that won't seem forced or trite. I do appreciate your continued support, however.
