  1. Sorry about that. I guess I was planning to add more and then either forgot about it or deleted it later, without changing that. Glad you're still enjoying it though, and thanks for the feedback.
  2. I think we all read this in school. A very touching story. I think we were all a little shocked by how she portrayed Atticus in her second story that only came out recently. She was a very private person and stayed out of the limelight, so may she rest in peace now.
  3. I'm glad that was cleared up for you.
  4. Happy Birthday, Curti! I hope it's a great one and may you enjoy many, many more!
  5. Seeing they'd visited there previously, there was no way I could omit it now. I just hoped it wouldn't evoke horrible memories for those who'd been closely affected by that day. Thanks for the continued feedback.
  6. Fae, thanks for pointing that out and I'll see that it's corrected. It's amazing that the chapter has had nearly 1500 views and no one has mentioned it before... lol
  7. Fae, if you're starting book 5, I take it you've learned about Graham's special gift and it was referring to Brent.
  8. Thanks, Bart. I'm glad you have enjoyed this story and I appreciate your support and feedback. Only three chapters left.
  9. Each member of the group had been eavesdropping on the wizard’s conversation with Kieren and seemed intrigued by everything they had heard thus far. They were also mildly shocked by some of the information the wizard had revealed to them, so they began to stare intently at Kieren, because they were anxious to see how he was going to react to this news. “I'm grateful to you for clearing those things up for us, but it's also really nice of you to say that you think I'm the right person to b
  10. Fae, maybe I didn't go into it as well as I should have, but Pat had shown previously that he was going to make the best of a bad situation and not complain. The operation restored his sight in one eye, so he was doing the best he could with that. As far as his scars, it was part of a very large group and was able to use them to shield himself from others, so not many others noticed his situation. Thanks for the feedback and I'll try to remember this if I ever do a rewrite.
  11. Happy Birthday, Peter!
  12. Fae, you haven't gotten to it yet. You'll know what it is when you get there.

    Chapter 1

I'm glad you enjoyed it. This one was purely for the laughs.
  14. Yes, Fae, into each life a little rain must fall. That episode was based on something I heard happen in a school district, although it took place many years ago.
  15. Ah, ok. I wasn't sure, but you're correct. Thanks for all of your feedback.
  16. May all of you with sweetheart be able to show them your love, while I hope that those looking for a sweetheart find success! Happy Valentine's Day!
  17. Fae, I think it's appropriate that you ran across the Valentine's Day chapter today!
  18. Fae, are you referring to getting Brett's parents to relinquish custody? If so, it was something that needed to be done.
  19. Yes, Fae, Christmas is a wonderful time, but even more so with special things going on too. Establishing the Foundation and the visit from the Japanese grandparents added to the fun.
  20. Fae, you really think that about Nick? Only time will tell. Thanks for the feedback.
  21. Graeme, are you saying this is in script format, rather than like her other books?
  22. Since Jo is writing again, maybe she'll hire one of you to be the matchmaker.
  23. I just wanted to welcome all the new members. I hope each of you finds this site to be a fun and rewarding place to visit.
  24. Yes, Fae. It's a huge problem, and one that happens all too often.
  25. “You did it, my boy,” Beraut squealed in almost childlike delight, after he'd set Kieren back on the ground. “You got rid of Madumda.” “You mean he’s really dead?” Kieren asked, still somewhat confused and bewildered. Unfortunately, the wizard assumed this question was merely rhetorical and, therefore, only nodded his head slightly in response. Suddenly remembering that he still had Madumda’s staff, Kieren hurriedly unfastened his robe and held it out for the wizard to see. He figu
